Since we're between seasons, maybe this best belongs here... anyone else in the James Bond minileague?
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

I am. I am far from an expert in this area; I have already achieved my goal for the ML by winning my first MD.Volante wrote:Since we're between seasons, maybe this best belongs here... anyone else in the James Bond minileague?

I'm surprised at the nice variation of clues. (And that I was able to correctly deduce what was in the standard issue attache case.Coelacanth wrote:I am. Spoiler
Knew the knife and the coins, had to guess on the ammo (he doesn't remove the ammo from the case at any point in the movie).

Me, but it wouldn't surprise me to be the first ever to zero-for-the-entire-ML.Volante wrote:Since we're between seasons, maybe this best belongs here... anyone else in the James Bond minileague?

I thought I would, but I've snagged two ties (and neither was 0-0) in the poetry ML.econgator wrote:Me, but it wouldn't surprise me to be the first ever to zero-for-the-entire-ML.Volante wrote:Since we're between seasons, maybe this best belongs here... anyone else in the James Bond minileague?

Re: For the LLamas Among Us
I am not exactly tearing up the Poetry ML--especially since my loss yesterday to an A-Rundle champion--but I am playing pretty well and really enjoying it. For me, it's been a great mix of stuff I know, stuff I have no hope of getting, stuff I can get by some mixture of tease-out and WAG, and a little bit of stuff that I know, but I strongly suspect hardly anybody else does.

The poetry ML is kicking me in the hiney, but at least I'm learning some new stuff.

Re: For the LLamas Among Us
I'm a big Bond fan and really enjoying the minileague. My lousy defense earned me a loss on Monday but I feel confident I'll recover.
I'm also in Poetry and really have no business playing it

Same here. I thought I would be so bad in both that it wouldn't be fun, but I decided that I couldn't live for 3 weeks without some regular LL activity, so decided to be someone's Bond sacrificial lamb.schoe wrote:I'm Bonding! Poetry, on the other hand, no way...

Re: For the LLamas Among Us
I've never seen more than about five minutes of a single Bond movie, so I had to sit that one out. I knew I'd get killed in poetry, but played anyway just to have something to do. I did win yesterday 1(1)-0(0) to vault from last to 8th place. I'm doing much better than I did in comic books they had in the last break. I hope to do better in the images one starting after poetry.TheyCallMeMrKid wrote:Same here. Basically the same for me. Still haven't got a single question correct, though my MPD makes me 10/12.TheyCallMeMrKid wrote:Same here. New season coming up in about a month, Anyone looking for a referral?
(Just to save time, if you don't have a fairly decent contribution to the board, I'm almost certainly not going to give you one.)

I also have a referral available, under these same conditions.econgator wrote:New season coming up in about a month, Anyone looking for a referral?
