My surprise and joy at being in 11th place is tempered by the fact that I know I have a costly wrong answer coming up...well, it'll be nice while it lasts. :P

Well, I fell 45 spaces (I'm listed in a tie for 49th, rather than where I should be, a tie for 51st), so your record only lasted 0 questions!

Oops! I fixed it – had an old formula hanging out in a few of the cells. Thanks for pointing that out.

Question 3: Teaser

Post by Vermonter »

Name 3 of the 36 Shakespeare plays that appeared in the First Folio of 1623.
Multiplier values: 1, 3, 5

Just to be clear, there will be three different reveals for this question: one for each of the Multipliers.

The fun part of this (I think) is you can figure out what your score will be – you just don't know where anyone else will end up!

Okay, people, this is ridiculous. Everybody always forgets Cymbelline, why didn't you? And of the three parts of Henry VI, you had to go and choose part 2, while parts 1 and 3 went unclaimed?

I fear that people don't realize they are supposed to give DIFFERENT answers than I do.
Teems with quiet fun.

It's usually Troilus and Cressida. Or at least, that's what I thought.

In this group, you will rarely get much mileage out of assuming that an answer is too obscure, unless of course it is a truly obscure answer

I am a former English major; I wrote my undergraduate thesis on Shakespeare and can rattle off every single one of his plays plus a couple of disputed works for good measure. I picked Cymbeline, Coriolanus and Titus Andronicus. :( If you have tears, prepare to shed them now.

You're assuming I can remember what I said - there's no PM for me to check! :D

I, too, am an English major - so I steered clear from what I consider the biggies (Macbeth, Hamlet, Romeo & Juliet). I know I answered with Twelfth Night (my favorite) and Love's Labour's Lost, and I think I said The Tempest - I sure hope I put that one for the "1" multiplier.
