The mnemonic I've always hear for those cave thingies is:

Stalagmites stand with might.

Stalactites hang on tight.
A little bit easier still: Stalactites stick tight. You don't even need anything for stalagmites.

I knew the CA engineer had a street named after him but I only got as far as eliminating Sunset as his last name... Getting LA history from the movies, I might have come up with Mulwray before Mulholland. :geek: There was a whole movie made about Mulholland Dr.! :D ... which got me to swear ...

Gotta test your links, Andy! That one had an extraneous = at the end that made it a dead end. I fixed it in my quote here.
It's also fixed in the original.

My guess of Richard III wasn't as far off as I thought. It comes in at #4, and they likely wouldn't have asked about Coriolanus or Cymbeline (2 and 3).

Some prefer stirring this classic cocktail; shaking it, the preferred method of Nick Charles, is said to bruise the gin.

Anyone else notice a player named Nora(h) got this one?
I was too distracted by Asta running onto the set.

I can't remember what it was offhand, but there was another example of the closed captioner being either clueless or just plain terrible at it. It's a shame because previously, they would catch all sorts of nuances.

As an example of the closed captioner not having a clue, for 'Horus' they had 'Horace'. Oy.

And what was going on with Seward? It sounded fine to me.

Perhaps a very deep dive, but the name is iconic enough that it's conceivable it might pop up. Bombardier has announced that after 58 years of continuous production, Learjet production will cease before the end of 2021. https://aviationweek.com/business-aviation/aircraft-propulsion/end-era-bombardi...

Thanks, alietr, for providing the context. If you asked 100 literate, well-educated people to copy-edit that passage, I suspect none would flag the "a." That in itself demonstrates that it's idiomatic English. It's a terrible sentence though. It meanders all over the place. The diagram would look r...

Aaron was a little marble-mouthed for me. He does have potential, and I think he'll improve as he gets games under his belt.

Count me as another that went with Phil Donahue. It sounded like psychology talk to me.
