Ken week one is done: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6906
Yes, of course, the wrong guy will be a poll choice.
See above, mas3cf, that watching The Crown seems to be one path.

Re: Friday, January 15, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
I've now read the posts on The Jeopardy! Fan to get my answer about The Crown. Yeah, I'm not surprised. Maybe I can get my revenge when J! asks about such important things as Floor is Lava, The Baby-Sitters Club, or Diary of a Future President?

Re: Friday, January 15, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
Gautham's opening move was one of the hand pointing things that Michiganders do as he seemed to be pointing to Jackson's spot. Lucy once again had a slow start as she only got in once in the opening segment. The game had another of those (Wasn't that just on Master Minds) with the 1587 queen clue. B...

I added the first segment of 1987-09-10: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6905
If the rest ever turns up at least there is a head start to it. Nice to get a proper introduction for Brenda & Ted in the archive.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive
I remember that Conway Twitty commercial. Just for fun I called the number to order the album and got a law firm that handles cases for people who got sick from taking Zantac. I got FJ on a guess. Is there a reason I should know it other than The kids had German names? That's one way to get it. My ...

Spoiler
"Pressure" although I love the possible trap of someone guessing "We Didn't Start The Fire". This probably works better for pub trivia teams than J! of course.

Thanks, I'll get it in later, if no one else does. It would be funny if I botched an Alex comment and credited it to Ken instead.kablamfan11 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 14, 2021 2:42 pmI found the partial 9/10/87 episode on the Internet Archive:

Another runaway for Lucy while the path to get there was quite different than yesterday's route. Brett had to walk out of the studio in a daze and wonder what happened as he left with just the $1,000. Ouch on Brett having "sportswriter" in his introduction and then not having THE BEST OF TIMES go we...

The Vicar of WHAT?!?! For Jonathan, Anne Boleyn was executed in 1536. Also the year that Catherine of Aragon died. Westminster Yeah, even a general sense of who ruled England when should prevent the Boleyn guess. That's okay Jonathan got the win and whupped Ken's tail. That Verne question was some ...

CBS passed on it and stuck with LMaD, TPIR, and Y&R as far as I know and most importantly J! aired in MS. I got a laugh out of DD1 since I was watching on that station.

Re: Jeopardy! Interim Host Thread
One more thing about Andy Richter is his having/choosing to bail out of the Million Dollar Celebrity Invitational. Some of the powers at J! have changed, but there are holdovers. In the entertainment business, grudges can be held sometimes. *********** For regular play contestants there have been so...

Re: Jeopardy! Interim Host Thread
I'd like to see Andy Richter get a guest-hosting spot, both as an excellent Celebrity J! player and someone who seems to really want to host a game show (he's done a good number of pilots). Obviously he's not quite an A-lister, but he has been on TV pretty consistently for almost 3 decades now. And...
