Re: Friday, February 5, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

Fell for the GB negbait on Islands $800. I'm not down with that characterization. If you don't know the answer there, the right move is to let someone else be the guinea pig. I use that term sparingly, but those place names sound pretty British and less Irish. If they wanted to tilt you in the righ...

Re: Thursday, February 4, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)

I said eating instead of digesting wood. Judges? "D" in quotation marks, so no go. I went with dissolving, which might work. I would vote no on that one. Wood (i.e. cellulose) is insoluble in water. It's the chemical processes - the digestion - that process them into soluble components.

Standard deviation is a measure of the variability of a data set, it does not apply to a single data point. I suspect "deviation" is what they were after, whic...

Anyone else here have Forged in Fire to thank for knowing Damascus? Not sure where I learned Damascus steel, but I got it on the picture alone before Ken even started talking. I'm counting turtle for tortoise. Lyft for Uber is a particularly bad 50/50 If there is a 50/50, then I have a 100% chance of getting it wrong. Aung San Suu Kyi detaimed in military coup in Myanmar.

The National League for Democracy (NLD) won November’s poll in a landslide, but the army has for weeks alleged widespread voter irregularities, claiming to have found 8.6m cases of fraud.

In the game thread, I had predicted the Old West FJ would poll around 40%, but 85% will have gotten at least one.

So far 44% and 88%. :D
