Right or wrong, between the category and the clue I read, "name an imaginary horned animal". Well, what's the first thing that comes to mind?
If this were a top row clue during regular game play, it would have been nothing but a buzzer race.

Re: WWTBAM returns to primetime
In this prime-time series, are the phone-a-friends permitted to use Google and similar aids? If not, how is that rule enforced? If so, why doesn't everyone do it? I remember a decade or two ago it was obvious that many phone-a-friends were Googling the question; sometimes the contestant would just ...

Re: Reretaken Down
I don’t even know what a full credit roll is or the interest in tracking down games that had them. There seem to be a number of credit rolls videos on YouTube, not sure why. (Hey, I have a bunch of old unarchived games, I bet people would love to see who the key grip was in 1987). Pretty bizarre, i...

Re: Friday, November 27, 2020 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
Nice game. I loved the champ's "shoot-the-moon" DD wager near the end. I'm sure someone has done it before, but I wonder if there's any correlation between the "get rate" of DD clues and their vertical placement. To me, second-row DDs just seem easier than bottom row ones, but it's just a casual ob...

I should have that little list (countries on the equator) memorized, but, well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Yeah, there's only 11. Big help with other countries as well when visualizing maps. Of course this clue was easier 25 years ago as the answer was different. Somebody didn’t read the landlocked word in the clu...

I'll check out the second week of the Feb. teen tourney at some point. Perhaps after 50 more repetitious posts about the same bloody thing. Less than 12 hours later..... Check the second week of the February 2007 Teen Tournament for any more full credit rolls from that tournament, with no local pro...

Re: Fun with NBC's "The Weakest Link"
I wonder when the show will start doing celebrity or themed episodes like in the original version. Another thing I'd like to see added to this version are Champions League or Bad Losers episodes. UK Weakest Link had those in the early days. Bad Losers being people brought back for a second chance t...

Is Antarctica not an island? Is there some kind of maximum size for an island? I know they gave the area, which pins the clue to Greenland, but it confused me. This is just one of those things where you have to know the Jeopardy definitions. In this case, an island is "a piece of land surrounded co...

Sadness. Met him and got an autographed picture when I was 7 or so and he was hosting High Rollers. Later was in the audience when a friend was a contestant. Damn good at his job. Pretty tough losing him and Regis so close together during these rough times. For his final episode, I suggest hauling t...

Is "hang ten" okay for the shaka sign instead of "hang loose"? It's in the wiki article, but "hang ten" refers to having ten toes over the surfboard. I actually said "hang five", which is a thing, so I was probably wrong anyway. Said "hang ten" so I'm interested in this. Negative. Although it can m...

Regarding the "sprint" response, the clue starts with "Taking this.....". You take a shortcut, everybody has heard of this. I've never heard of taking a sprint. You run a sprint, you don't take a sprint.
But yes, the clue should have been pinned better.
