Not able to visualize the map for Monday, though I should have thought of Hungary anyway...Rotten guesses on Wed and Thurs, even though the right response went through my head (and in one case on paper) for both...
Thank goodness and MB for redeeming extras!

This was the first time I can remember going over .500 on Final Jeopardy during a regular game-play week. I was very pleased with the set of clues.

Does anyone remember seeing my name listed prior to the time stamp on this post? Because I thought for sure I voted yesterday (just prior to the time stamp of my previous post), yet I just went to see how my miss/ gets compared to everyone else's, and the poll was blank for me, as if I hadn't participated yet.

"Cheeks of tan" still doesn't sound right to me.
I believe it's "cheek", not "cheeks". I got it from an old "Bullwinkle's Corner" poem. I can't remember the whole thing, but the last line was, "And though you give my friend a scare/blessings on thee, boyfoot bear."
"Elen sila lumenn omentielvo...A star shines on the hour of our meeting."

Not bad. Now I get to enjoy the fleeting feeling of Jeopardy omniscience for this week. :D
