Since I can't think of any other way to approach it that would make sense for both authors referenced, my guess would be...
What is Joseph Anton?
...even though I almost feel dumb for typing it.
I'll check back later when I have more time.

You can also find today's FJ! on the Sony site. Just click on the NYT clue of the day.

I checked USTVNow, which gives a live stream of the Harrisburg/York/Lancaster channels, and Wheel of Fortune is on right now on WHP CBS 21 so I bet Jeopardy will be on next as planned.
Re: Monday, April 15, 2013 Game Recap & Discussion [SPOILERS]
Business as usual on WNEM. They never extended the news for Sandy Hook, either.
$200's in Doctor! Doctor! and Lab Test seemed very obscure to me.
Cats for $600: Turkish Coupe is ruled out, and no one wanted to 50/50 on Van vs. Sedan? Come on, even I got that 50/50 right. For once. And I don't think a cat will have Sedan in its name.
Ran Cats and "Flu".
0/5 on Historic Women and European Geography.
Not a guess on FJ!

Sigh. What else could the answer have been? And I even knew the story behind his pseudonym.
I'd be surprised if anyone show-quality missed this.

My son Liam is a junior at Emerson College which has several buildings on Boyleston Street, not far from the site of the explosions. Thankfully the school had no classes today due to the Patriot's Day festivities in the area.
I was able to speak with him shortly after 3:00 PM. He now lives off campus in an area near Logan Airport and he was home when the bombs went off.
So missing J! Tonight is no big deal for me!

Makes sense in hindsight. I wonder how the contestants did, and (assuming it wasn't a TS) if they got it the same way. Or maybe they just knew the damn story. That always works...Spoiler

Matt lost his second game. LIsa was a close second in FJ! getting Joseph Anton and won her first game and $26800. Matt and the other challenger said Lord Jim. Alex mentioned Salman's recent memoir after the music stopped. Another oddity today in that all three DDs in the game were in the second row. Not sure how often if at all that has happened, but not much no doubt.

Yeah, makes sense in hindsight, but I wouldn't have gotten FJ. I was busy trying to think of some character or thematic linkage between the two, not something as simple as the names.
No Jeopardy in the Chicago area today.

I'm usually first in line to complain when my Boston affiliate pre-empts "Jeopardy!", but not tonight for obvious reasons.
Based on the NYT clue this a.m., FJ was an Instaget.
Glad to hear from friends in Boston that they're doing well on this dark day.
Best to all.

now THAT was a "don't know it but I can suss it out" clue.
I was vacillating over the order to write the names down, and decided to stick with the order of the clue. And so it was.

That's surprising that the champ missed it. Perhaps I'm biased because I knew the pseudonym beforehand, but it does seem that a lot of folks were able to piece it out.

Pleasantly surprised that my affiliate showed tonight's episode. I wavered back and forth on the order of the names in FJ before settling on the correct way.
Not many people can say they've lost four times on Jeopardy!.

I think I've heard Rushdie's pseudonym, but it didn't immediately come to mind. However, it was easy to figure it out given the clue.Austin Powers wrote:That's surprising that the champ missed it. It was a single get by the new champion (so apparently "show quality" types only get it 1/3 of the time).
I'll add my condolences to the victims of today's bombings. Terribly sad news.

The reason why I need a link to today's episode is because mines was preempted and they're not showing it overnight here in my area
