Thanks, y'all. I have a bunch of catching up to do, and this holiday is a good time to do it.

Not really a book, but didn't want to create a new thread.

Was watching house hunters international, season 3, episode 22 and to my surprise see Leszek Pawlowicz. Les is there at the beginning of the episode.

Either Les has reached celebrity status or I'm watching too much J! :-)

Updates to this thread have become too infrequent, so I'll have to self-promote my new book "The Complete Guide To Republican Ethics: Trump Edition". (It's a blank book.)

This tragically deceased contestant popped up in the "new old games" thread. A "For Dummies" SAT vocab book and apparently several others on travel.

John Bear, who was on the show in 1987 and who has posted here as Ursa Minor, has written 30 or more books. See http://circledance.tripod.com/id2.html. In fact, when he was on the show I recognized his name as being the person who wrote books about nontraditional college degrees.

Since we've now confirmed it's him in the New Old Games thread, Is That Your Final Answer?: Sometimes, Ya Just Gotta Believe!, published January 2, 2021, is by Season 5 player Phil Gibbons.

The Black Joke: The True Story of One Ship's Battle Against the Slave Trade by A.E. Rooks, a.k.a. 2x champion Alysha Rooks (who signed in as "Rooks" on the show and is thus far the only woman to have signed in by surname).
