I've gotten between 32 and 34 correct since online testing started. Hoping they accept Meyers for Meyer and Browning for Barrett Browning, I got 35!

If DNB's list is good, I pulled 42.

Depending on how many I fat-fingered, I think I got at least 36 and maybe as many as 39. That would be the first time in 4 tries that I've passed. Yeah!
What was the Los Angeles question?

Assuming that list is correct, I got a 37/38 depending on how they rule on "pengui."

Re: Online Test Recap & Discussion (Eastern), January 7, 2014
I submitted three awkwardly typed answers. I hope they're OK with at least two of them.
Thurgood Marshall: I started by just typing "Marshall", but then I thought "Was there another Supreme Court Justice with that name?" So what I ended up typing was "Marshall, Thurogood" (last name comma first name, with an inadvertent extra syllable)
J.F. Cooper for James Fenimore Cooper. People don't really call him "J.F.", but I didn't trust my ability to type it all in.
And my most questionable one: Ran out of time on "Athena". I'm not sure whether I entered "Athe" or "Athen".
Assuming two of those three are counted, I think I might have gotten 44 out of 50!

39/50 here, that friggin' Green Eggs and Ham question will haunt. Could it have been worded any more poorly?

Looks like I got 45? 44? I'm not sure if I actually finished typing a couple of these in time. I missed pirouette (somehow, egh, didn't come to me), Rio Grande (said Colorado even though I had typed Rio Grande at one point), The Good Wife (typed like "The Go"), MOTHER'S DAY, and COPPER. I feel...a bit vexed by these misses. Still happy with it.

Going by that list, I think I got a 31 This was my first year taking the adult test though so hopefully I can pass sometime in the future! I can still take the College Test thought I can't even remember what the question "Alaska" was the answer for.

It had to do with the dessert called "Baked Alaska"Apost226 wrote:Going by that list, I think I got a 31 This was my first year taking the adult test though so hopefully I can pass sometime in the future! (That was a question where I'm only capable of going in one direction. I know that's the name of a dessert, but I wouldn't be able to tell you precisely what's in it.)

Hi all, first time poster!
I had a couple of partials and I'd like your opinions on acceptability.
I ran out of time on Captain Morgan and just got "Captain", same thing on Green Eggs and Ham, I just put "green."
Secondly, what was the question for #19? I totally forget.
Thirdly, a question thrown around here often I bet: what is the usual cutoff for getting a call?

Wow. I got at least 42 right (I don't remember a couple of my responses without seeing the clues), with the last 22 in a row correct. This will definitely be the best I've ever done on one of these. MUCH easier than last year's Eastern test.

Thank you, I remember now. I can't believe I missed Captain Morgan, my roommate decided to turn on the vacuum while I was cycling through Rum names, haha. Yeah I freaked outskullturf wrote:It had to do with the dessert called "Baked Alaska"Apost226 wrote:Going by that list, I think I got a 31 This was my first year taking the adult test though so hopefully I can pass sometime in the future! What was the question for which "Los Angeles" was the answer? Was that the olympics one?
