I sure hope a crucial DD or FJ doesn't really on knowing what "anthropomorphic" means.

For the record, I know what "anthropomorphic" means. Its just that some TD entrants have a hard time with the concept :P

I'm wondering though, jeoprosy, when was your tape date in that, ie how close to The Call was it?

And I'm very excited for you!

Tape date was first week of march. The call was in January, so about six weeks out. I think thats standard based on what ive heard from others.

Then as news of the Sony hack broke, immaf came up with the brilliant possibility that people who had washed out of the pool might be considered as contestants. Here is how I responded to that theory:

Thanks for the irrational optimism ya jerk.
Well guys, im sorry. I should have listened. The point of all this is to say:

Online test: January 2013

Audition Invite: March 2013

Audition: May 2013

The Call: January 2015

Air date: May 21, 2015
I'm happy for you. No, truly. Happy, happy, happy. But honesty compels me to admit that I would be happier still had *I* been the washout who received THE CALL. (Especially since I tanked on this year's online test.)

Anyway, wishing you the best of retroactive good luck.

Man, I am so sorry. Ive felt the same way seeing people invited to auditions before me and then seeing pretty much all of the people in my audition group get on the show before me. I don't blame you for feeling that way. I know we will see you on the show soon.

Thanks for the retroluck everyone.

You sly dog, you had already gotten the call when I started posting those YouTube videos...

Congrats dude! If it goes well, I propose a corollary to Slam's Rule: #BilowsRule

If wheelhouse is calling somebody a sly dog for not divulging information, is there kind of a pot/kettle thing going on? (Seriously, no offense intended, Alex. It's just that all I know about you, I know from TV, and when you're paying a game, you're not exactly the most scrutable fellow!)

Ah, yes, excellent point. In fact, it's kind of hard for me to tell which one of you has been working harder to promote the other this spring. In a good way, of course.

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to create a new thread called "Timing of Audition Invite Emails -- 2015" to start anew on a topic that, with the online test just given, is at the front of prospective contestants' minds again. In fact, I would suggest a new thread every year for the given year after the online test is given.

I'm not a regular here anymore so I thought that I would let a more senior person (or moderator) do it if you think that it is a good idea.
I used to be AWSOP but wanted to be more theatrical.

Hey jeff6286, ever hear "every time you point, there are three fingers pointing back at you"? Your errors exemplify this perfectly...

I'm seeing a few tweets claiming invites to the Boston auditions in early June
