I shook my Magic 8-Ball and the answer came up: "Outlook not so good." (no, they aren't doing them anymore, at least for regular games.)
If only this change had been made last season...

Well, I can't claim to have been a "boardie" prior to my appearance (9/19), but I've really enjoyed reading through the threads here. Just thought I'd say hello.

Oh, and re the Winners Circles, we were told on our tape day (IIRC..it's still a bit of a blur) that they were not doing them because of Alex's injury. They thought just getting him through the 5 games that day was enough! My impression was they might be back though.

They definitely did the Winner's Circle yesterday at the ToC taping, even with Alex having to hobble on over from the (podium/lectern/host platform). They didn't seem to tape all five post-show Winners' Interviews (it seemed like they skipped the interview after the 3rd show of the day in the interest of getting to lunch!), but that could've been picked up after the audience was shuffled out...

They're saving that for sweeps month. Rumor is the boar chokes to death on Wolf Blitzer.

Good to see you back on the boards, sir.

I wonder if he'll be off the boot before the TOC airs. It would be strange seeing him go from the boot to regular shoes and then getting the boot back for two weeks.

I taped on Monday, August 29, and he told the audience that day that the cast was supposed to come off that Thursday. Unless he got out his dremel before then. It was pretty clear that he was tired of the boot and ready to be back to normal.

Thanks folks, for the replies, and I hear you on that, NJCondon. Imagine arriving for a taping before any Season 27 shows had aired, thinking you knew how everything worked, only to have that mentioned in the green room!

Shooting mine was easily the oddest part of my J! experience, including having someone from the Audience ask me later about one of the answers I'd given (I hadn't realized the audience was hearing it all). So, I made a point of trying to watch the videos on the site... don't remember anything especially bad about yours, Nick.

Wow, I've got something in common with jpahk, I also did not know about this website until my ill fated appearance on the show that aired on Sept 21st, where my lack of knowing that Jon Voight begat Agelina Jolie cost me the game. I taped with Glenn Edwards and jbilliegirl on Aug. 2nd and we had a blast if I do say so myself. No doubt Alex wasn't feeling too chipper but he toughed it out, being as he was recovering from his accident. Best of luck (retro-actively or otherwise) to Justin S., the fightin' urologist, in the TOC. .

Show aired Sept 21st Patrick Sweaney

Congrats, Preston! Only two months now of enforced, excruciating silence remain!
