Interesting that these were high-scoring boards for you. They were very low-scoring boards for me. We each have our own strengths and weaknesses, but this one was mostly weakness for me. I ended up with an 18,200, which is somewhat below my average. It was only a run in "The Facts of Life" that saved me from a disastrous score.

Very ugly J! round: (10/2). DJ! gave me a good rebound (21/0).
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

Josh, I hope you will keep posting your scores here! And good luck on the test! :)
My score today was 8600 :( , but it would've been 19400 without eight negs. Lesson learned. Does anyone have any suggestions how to keep negs to a minimum? Like, how to know when to ring in and when to clam.
I didn't do well on naming the Roman equivalent despite scanning those recently, but I'm encouraged that apparently it's ToC material as opposed to regular season. I did sweep Bad Heir Day thanks to recent studying, which lifts my confidence a little. Said Kiev for the final.

11/2: $6,600 (FJ: :()

I guess that's decent for me for the TOC. It certainly could have (and has) been worse.

11/2: $12,400 (FJ: :D ) - this is below average for me, even for a ToC. My average in the last ToC was about $15K, but my regular game averages have improved by several thousand since then, so I am hoping my ToC average will go up as well. Not off to a great start!

Same here. The only one I got was the ALZ for Alzheimer's one and that had nothing to do with knowledge of the movie.

Thank you for posting your score, boson. 11-4: 13800 :( I knew what the final was referring to, but I couldn't come up with the name. My score would've been 19400 without 9 negs.

Wow, I passed the $10K mark in a TOC game! I doubt that'll happen much more this tournament (if at all), so I'll enjoy it while I can. :)

Two $2k negs did not help there...
