It is so funny that DadofTwins used a "1997: the year in music" category. Back when I was in sixth grade and all of those songs were popular I was a big fan of all of them. I watched VH1's "Top Ten Countdown" religiously. This was also around the time I started watching Jeopardy! regularly, and I kid you not: I used to tell my sister all the time that I wanted to see a category called "The 1997 Billboard Charts." Thanks, DadofTwins, for that category!

Question #15 from Day 3 is really badly worded - You Were Meant for Me is an entirely different song from Foolish Games, not a remix. They're both found on the CD Pieces of You.

Take me for a ride in your car, Carl
Take me for a ride in your car, Carl
Take me for a ride, take me for a ride
Take me for a ride in your car, Carl
So OK, how many of you (a) recognize the song, (b) get the joke, and/or (c) know I've got the lyrics wrong? A real mondegreen for me.
Maybe I should post this in the TOC thread.

(a) and (c) but not sure about (b). Is there more to the humor than the pun involved?
