Now the question is whether you had to look it up like I did, or if you knew that.

Andy, rest assured that, among the many things I've committed to memory, an ordered list of Nixon's enemies is not among them, nor ever likely to be. However, I will remember who #17 is from now on

I will admit that I stole this idea from Paul Newman's Playbill bio from his 2002 Broadway performance in "Our Town" (the funniest bio I've ever read, though I can only recall a couple of lines.) Among other accomplishments, he notes that he was #19 on Nixon's enemies list. I simply altered the number in search of a more obscure schorr.

I used to work (well, volunteer) for Al Lowenstein, who was #7. I'm kinda proud of that.

Nixon's enemies list is a good template for "people Woof admires." I'll have to examine Colson's "master list" and see if that still holds.

I guess it's been more than a week (I wasn't sure what the grace period was but I just looked) ... can I have mine changed to "Jeopardy! Champion"? :)

Now that I have made it through the audition, I'd like to go with "This boy can swim (in the J! pool)"

Thanks!

Hah! Nope, love it ain't. I still respect his legislative accomplishments, but that's now part of a stew of emotions that includes disappointment and moral outrage.

My game wasn't much of a contest, so...how about "Jeopardy participant?"

Upon actually seeing it applied I've already been convinced it was a terrible idea.
Maybe That Guy Who Said "Yay!" puts a more appropriately positive spin on it.
