Somewhere between 38 and 40 for me, depending on whether they accept just Red Cross and "Rosalind" Carter.

I can't believe it--another 34 for me, if "Red Cross" is acceptable. It would be a 35 if "electric car" is acceptable for "hybrid," but I am not counting on that.

I would have had James, Prima Donna, and thyroid with more time. But I do feel good about pulling Zipline!

45 for me- missed two of the last 3 (missing Schindler's list threw me). Seemed easier to me than usual, perhaps because of the tougher test today!

Here's the video. . I did a little editing to hide my answers until the last ~3 seconds of each - see if you beat me!

I don't think they'll take electric car, because the clue specified multiple power sources.

Based on the list I'm looking at 39, and it could be 41 if they give me "All about the Bass" and "Rosalynn Cart"

Not a bad group. Not a lot of pop culture. ( meghan trainor and top chef?) Yay. A lot of science that didn't happen. Couldn't think of big dipper fast enough. Wife's fifes is good. Awaiting transcript, but fairly sure of 36 ,if Mrs. Carter (Rosalynn) is ok. Otherwise not brutal just spots I haven't been to ( calzone) or never considered (jane austen will be on the ten pound note!?).

Best test I can remember having, then. I count 46 right if they let me have "thyroi" (ran out of time).

D'oh! Sherder must have a faster pc to upload the video before me every time.

Thanks for doing it every time. Since I was taking this one for real, my answers are there for everyone to see. (posted upthread, but also available here: https://youtu.be/KuuR8ZUwSPQ )

Outside of "Top Chef" was there really any others. It seemed to me that last year the current pop culture stuff was good for several questions.
There's quite a bit of variation from test to test on the number of pop culture questions. Those that were on the test were not from the current year (Top Chef has been on for years, and Meghan Trainor's #1 song was released in 2014.

Maybe the Powers that Be noticed us boning up on pop culture. :)

35 on the nose....not surprising. Would've preferred a little breathing room, but scoring higher hasn't gotten me an invite, either, so who knows... :P

My pleasure. My Macbook isn't quite as fast as it used to be, but I did plug into an ethernet cable for faster upload. We have to get our money's worth for internet. :)

I was also happy about that, though I did miss both of those. I was also glad that there was very little contemporary literature.

I usually get over the 35 mark but I may have blown this one thanks to some incredibly bad misses. This one made me pine for the good old days of the written test when you could go back and put in the ones you figured out too late. I think I would have saved 3 or 4 at least. Oh well, maybe it's not as gloomy as I think, and if it is there's always next year (until there isn't).

Ah - I get it now!

"First Lady from Plains", not "First Lady from THE Plains". Plains Georgia, Rosalynn Carter. Not someone from like Nebraska or something. I learned something here.

Depending on how strict the graders are, I got 42-44 right.

Derped on the 10-letter word and ballet questions. Came up with the right answers to the astronomy and Honda questions but time ran out before I could type the answer.

Correct WAGs on the chemistry and £10 note questions.

Considering Shakespeare = Elizabethan Era, that's kind of a low-blow question to start a test with.

Would have about a 40 if I took this one.

No to change he subject, but am I missing something or have they not given out audition locations based on the people chosen from the testing for the next three days. I know I picked Detroit back in January, but I'm assuming that has come and gone.

Did the test just for fun off the Youtube videos (thanks to sherder for posting!). Got 40 or 41, depending on if the economist in question needed all 3 names or just the last name. What do you all think? I'm leaning no since they said "This 3 named economist..."
