I did not like that test. Not sure why but I will have to wait for another time before reaching 35. Will have to study next time!

Just finished, and I feel pretty good. I did better when I was practicing on yesterday's questions, but that wasn't under pressure.

As a Formula One fan who just watched the Grand Prix of Monaco on Sunday, I'm pretty annoyed at myself for blanking on the Grimaldi family question and blurting "San Marino." If I don't make the cut, I have nobody to blame but myself...

I'm glad the baseball question was the last one. Early misses mess with my head. I'll wait for a transcript to check, but it felt like a comfortable pass to me. I had Puccini and Verdi down for the opera question and my not have completely deleted Verdi before submission... We'll see what they think of "Ve Puccini" (or, I guess we won't, since results are never given).

Hope it went well for everyone!

Took the test today - I think I did better on yesterday. Feels like bombed around 10 -- so, let us see what happens.

Judges: "miter valve" for "mitral valve," yay or nay? I'm guessing nay, in which case 42 if I didn't have any big misses.

I think I did well. Only one I know I missed was mourning/morning.

Edit:
Looks like a 45. Also missed Superstore, Haley, Mitral valve and Dalai Lama.

I know that I figured out the answer to the "same meaning as ubiquitous" clue in just enough time to be locked out after typing SYNON. Probably near 40.

I'm counting my response of "pancetta" for the carbonara meat as correct, by the way.

We'll see, I think I probably beat 35 but it's gonna be tight. Felt harder than yesterday, but that may have been nerves, as this was the first time I've ever taken it for real. Nailed the geography questions funnily enough, but I don;t know if I typed in enough of Puccini in time (assuming that was even right), and I blanked on a couple of the lit questions of all things. Definitely missed 4-5 questions, and there's about that many more that were educated guesses.

*sends, starts hitting reload on the thread for the answers*

For the first time ever, I think I did ok. All that Learned League practice is paying off. According to that list, I have exactly 35. Fingers crossed.

Also, I'm a tech guy and embarrassed about not getting to Plug and Play.

40ish. Missed Yum! Brands, Dalai Lama, South Africa, mitral valve, Drake, Alvin Ailey, among others. Blanked on Bahrain but got Baikal

Had to work hard for it tonight - 'mourning/morning', 'Gore's chores' had my head spinning

Wrote Nikki-Tikki-Tavi and Rikki Haley - no, but woulda been funny :P

I won the Carrie / Firestarter toss-up! Evil

435 House Reps, and how many collective recess days???

Nat Geo, gene sequencing acceptable...judges?

I love pasta carbonara but couldn't figure out if they wanted pork, back or pancetta!

Got Plug and play, superstore and everywhere with no time to spare

I'm pretty sure the answer to that question was "everywhere" so don't feel too bad about not typing your entire answer.

This one was rough. Embarrassed to say I am in the contestant pool after an audition last month, and got a super weak 33 taking this one for kicks

If these are all correct---38/50!!!!!!

I was really worried I didn't make the cut this time, especially since I would've passed yesterday's test.

I'm wondering if I will get positive credit for putting Morning instead of Morning/Mourning and spelling the answer as Riki Tiki Tavi.
