Yeah you can go there and read brilliant analysis like the following.
Spoiler
Final Jeopardy - NFL Poor Choice
It certainly was not fair to have a final jeopardy category of NFL when one of the three players was a female. She performed so well during the competition, taking the lead with the final question. How unfair a choice the NFL was.

Yeah, see my comments in the "About this board" thread, basically a) they don't make a good first impression (with a "they shouldn't ask this FJ category to a woman" thread without a spoiler tag in sight (thankfully, despite not having watched, I was only spoiled on the FJ category), generally the type of people that we used to be annoyed with on the old board) and b) they won't let Canadians sign up (unless you say you're American - it is cosmic balance for you wearing our flag on your backpacks, but really, there's no need to bar Canucks)

I tried to log in there under my old idenity but failed. MarkBarrett commented on that thread and shows one post, so apparently they've started from scratch.

Just gonna mention, this is NOT a daily post thread, so spoiler tags are recommended :D

I had to go through the registration process again. My name was available, but I created a new password. Same old avatar though. The first posts in the FJ thread were almost enough to make me give up on the whole process.

Yeah, I noticed that the posts were of the "rant" sort, but without guidance, how will they ever learn?

Plus, it appears that all of the previous board's archives are gone, not to be recovered.

But some knowledgeable looking around on archive.org might be able to help (that's how I got my "A Visit to Culver City" text to post here)

Actually I agree the
Spoiler
NFL
is an unfair category for FJ. And it was a stupid clue, imo.
Spoiler
the first three letters? Who the hell cares? And what does it have to do with football? Now if they had asked to name one of two expansion teams that joined in 1976, that would be a good clue.

There's already one-time newbie posters there starting special threads to complain about something. Didn't take long. That is not missed here on JBoard.

So the Sony site can keep all of those complainers. We're good.

Well, in their defence, *everyone's* a one-time newbie there for the moment :D

THAT would be unfair! Consider how much specialized NFL trivia you need to know to answer that one.
With this FJ clue, that data only gives you an advantage; to answer this phrasing, all you need to know are the names of the teams/ cities.

They could not be dropping the ball more if they tried. Guess they're making this decision REALLY easy. :)

You're kidding, right?

Heaven forbid a Jeopardy clue should require actual knowledge, rather than picking some silly random circumstance that requires contestants to go through 32 names in 30 seconds.
Can you tell I hate those kinds of clues?
