According to the show:
You may take either the West Palm Beach test on March 27, or any one of the three adult tests in April, but you may only take one. You should base your selection on convenience of audition city and available test date. Multiple entries may result in disqualification.

I wonder if the format of the thread title could be tweaked so it doesn't look so much like the daily game threads. The format used last year was:
Online Test Recap & Discussion (Eastern), March 6, 2018
With 3 more of these coming next week I can see a lot of people accidentally clicking the wrong threads (in either direction) and seeing things they didn't intend to see. Just a thought!

Spoiler
Query whether cryptocurrency is an acceptable alternate answer for no. 36 (bitcoin). According to wikipedia, bitcoin " is generally considered the first decentralized cryptocurrency." The word "mysterious" in describing the inventor in the clue seemed to be a TOM pointing me to the "crypto" in cryptocurrency. (My written response on my answer sheet was actually bitcoin, but after time ran out I did wonder about cryptocurrency being possibly correct -- although I now know that bitcoin was definitely right.)
Anyway, 45/50 playing off the video (missing
Spoiler
20 ounces, Viola Davis, Atlanta, Teigen, and "Shake it Off"
).

Pretty normal range for me with 44/50. Misses:
Spoiler
!. Classic RTFClue as I saw Chernow and wrote Hamilton without bothering to look at it again
5. I've barely heard of the correct pizza name - wrote Victoria
11. A terrible momentary blank in taking the test relaxed - Did get Davis before the next clue appeared
36. Wrote Nissei to have something - bitcoin or cryptocurrency was not going to happen
43. My coin toss went the wrong way with Snapchat
50. Doubly wrong as I had Blank Spaces and her song is Blank Space
As is the current norm there were a couple of gift points for having watched the games from this week.

The 44 I had right were mostly instants although I had to make sure I did the right Shakespeare play and needed a moment's pause to get the family crest thing.

I got a whopping 29 playing off the above video...

Lots of times when I'm playing and doing quite well at casual trivia games such as NTN/Buzztime or live-hosted bar trivia, I get asked, "How come you haven't been on Jeopardy?"

I always say that I have hung with real Jeopardy players and that I am NOT in their league... My above score proves it.

Hats off to anyone that can qualify!

Spoiler

I wonder if
Spoiler
hyperinflation would be accepted for #4? I thought of "inflation" just to be safe.

venti (missed the word origin clue of "twenty in italian" even though they don't use ounces...)
Viola Davis
typed cat on a hot tin roof and deleted it to write streetcar named desire (only to run out of time)
dolomites instead of alps
Teigen
Wonder Woman
ran out of time on Jurassic Park Place - they might have given it to me on a real test cause I was close

You're not alone, Rackme. I also got the exact same score, 29. I wonder how similar our misses were.

I've been hooked on this show for only about seven months. I know my weaknesses and what I need to study. I'm definitely not ready for Jeopardy right now, but I'm hoping I will be someday.
My lucky numbers are 6, 66, and 666.

41 Right, a couple of close rulings.
Spoiler
Pretty sure Margaret and Roman Empire would not pass. If BMS'd on the show, I'd still flop. I think the HRE is something different
Much better than the mid 30's last year. I think it was easier.

45/50. Missed...
Spoiler
the seemingly common misses of Viola Davis, Atlanta, and Chrissy Teigen... then embarrassingly protons (with an answer of electrons, and I still say that, since the clue did not specify the nucleus and ions weren't mentioned one way or the other, my answer would be correct. Depends on how strictly they would enforce "always.") and humidity. Just could not pull that word up in the 15 seconds given this time around.

Lilliputian -- thought of it, but reconsidered and put "little"
Chrissy Teigen -- no clue
23 -- again, no clue

I'm not quite clear on whether I could have taken this test officially, or if yes am I then only eligible to audition in West Palm Beach? Strictly academic since registration as usual was too complicated for me to knock out on short notice. I have a question about the process which I'll try to post in a relevant thread.

Anyway as for this, from the video but using pen and paper I scored 46*, missing
Spoiler
Grant (Napoleon), Atlanta (no guess), Mojave (that's the one I wanted but it wouldn't come), Shake It Off (Reputation has been my go-to Taylor Swift answer lately).

*At best. Heraldry and Teigen were furious last-seconds scribbles; who knows how they'd have played out for real on a keyboard.
Edit--Having just opened the above referenced relevant thread, the question I asked in the first sentence of this post has been answered.
I'm smart and I want respect.

48, which I believe is a tie for my best. I missed the Revolutionary War winter camp and the Taylor Swift song.
