If ever there was a DD crying out for the minimum $5 bet, the Lieder one had to be it.

So what I'm getting is that J! should stay away from anything with "lieder" in it.

In classical music, Schubert is pavlov for lieder. You didn't really have to know the name of the song. I'm no aficionado - I don't know that I've ever listened to a Schubert lied - but I didn't find the category particularly tough. Though I wonder if it was a shout-out to this site and one of our hobby-horses - there was even a clue about cheese...

I like the way Sam plays. Prospective contestants who are merely good and don't have uncanny Ken/Brad/James-like abilities can learn a lot from him.
On a negative note, we've had a lot of really bad FJ wagers by STEM professionals recently.

38 right.
Ran WHAT'S THAT IN YOUR EAR? category.
Lach Trash: Mr. Rogers, Sulu/Solo, Pip, skiing, cytoplasm; Daily Double: Franz Schubert
I guessed padfoot as well, but I have heard of gumshoe before.
