No frills tonight, gang. Just the TS clues plus James' one miss (other than FJ).

$2000 DON'T FORGET THE LYRICS: Thunderball

Got them all for a change. My Favorite Year seemed a bit difficult for that value as it seems to be remembered now as another movie O’Toole could have won an Oscar for, but didn’t. On the other side of the coin, 1900 rebellion is close to Pavlovian for the Boxers and thus China.
Convoy, Dr. Zhivago and...well... OBVIOUSLY I got that one! I'd have to change my avatar if I didn't.
Unbelievably pissed at myself for not knowing My Favorite Year...somehow I remember the punchline "I'm not an actor, I'm a movie star!" being used for an O'Toole memoriam piece (but not the Oscar one) and while that clip made me want to track it down, I didn't follow through on it. *pout*
Addendum: Maybe it was the Honorary Oscar montage which is even worse, that was over a decade ago...
Addendum Addendum: It's apparently 62 in my queue now, meaning I likely added it back in 2013...
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

weird...so the only one of these that you missed is the only one i got correct...add that you missed the final jeopardy clue and i got it right the show could have been aired in bizarro world
Comitatus and White Teeth* for me, plus the one James missed (and I didn't have to wait for him to get it wrong for me to get it).
*Not an actual ring-in, but I said it aloud; if I still kept score I'd have counted it as a clam. There was a FleetWit race today where all the answers were Hangman style rather than multiple choice, with all the answers starting with Z; I had absolutely no clue when Zadie Smith was an answer, and then I looked her up on Wikipedia to remind myself of what books were in the question. The one title I remembered was my guess.

Watch that movie. And then watch The Stuntman.
Ooh. Another true OToole fan!
Gold: The Stunt Man
Silver: The Lion in Winter
Bronze: My Favorite Year.
Magnificent trio. Maybe Lawrence was a showier movie overall, but those 3 are O'Toole must-see.

Good choices, though I would go with The Ruling Class over The Lion in Winter.

The Ruling Class rules! That and the original Bedazzled are the hidden gems of late ‘60s / early ‘70s British cinema.
