If you're referring to the sound effect that was similar to the speed-up bells on Wheel of Fortune, that was from the Art Fleming era. It was then replaced by the 10-beep sound effect the first month of Season 1 of the syndicated, which in turn was replaced by the current 16-beep sound a month later.
