Just one.

I was kind of surprised by how the whole question played. On this topic, I really had no idea how the board's knowledge would play.
I should get some kind of award for basically picking every sheep.

9. I have never actually been to Buffalo, New York. As a child, I did head to Buffalo, Texas for a family reunion. Name one of these cities in Texas (letter preferred - 3 points will be added if no letter is provided). It may help to keep in mind that none of these answers are used more than once.

A. A popular slogan calls for this city to be kept “weird” Austin
B. This city is nicknamed the Yellow Rose of Texas Amarillo
C. This city was founded in 1839 and nearly wiped out by a hurricane 61 years later Galveston
D. The 1990 book Friday Night Lights examined the culture around high school football in this town Odessa
E. This city contains the name of the most populous city of another state, and is about 300 miles south of that city Wichita Falls
F. Town known for Germanic heritage and the home of the original Schlitterbahn water park New Braunfels
G. The largest city in the state (population wise) to border a city larger than itself El Paso
H. This city in the northeast corner of Tarrant County appropriately has several wineries Grapevine
I. This city is home to Texas Motor Speedway and Texas Christian University Fort Worth
J. This city’s tourist board boasts “the largest urban ecosystem in the nation”. San Antonio
K. This seat of Anderson County is named after a similarly named city in Illinois and has no interest in geopolitical controversies on game shows Palestine

I suspected G might have negbait potential, so I made sure to add Fort Worth as an alternative choice. I took a very close look at Google Maps to make sure Fort Worth and Dallas don't border somewhere.

C - Galveston - 6 (sheep)
shambolic, MarkBarrett, twelvefootboy, xxaaaxx, FleaLick, morbeedo

E - Wichita Falls - 5
merica, gwallace2, clt013, ParrotRob, alamble

cthulhu

K - Palestine - 1 (singleton!)
SenseiCAY

Unused: J - San Antonio

Incorrect: Whataredogs (D. Permian), Saturnalia (B. San Antonio), bmwhitehead (G. Fort Worth), MattKnowles (I. Waco)

Shamefully enough, I managed to have three singletons out of the last four questions. But I’m confident my inner sheepitude will be shining through again in no time!

Thanks for hosting and for the trip down Chicago's memory lane, Ironhorse!

Bill Murray is a favorite native son, but thanks to your TD, now I'm reminiscing about Alan Keyes' wacky press conferences where he'd start out addressing current political issues and inexplicably end up singing selections from the Great American Songbook.

And way back when, Wesley Willis was a regular at a natural foods store where I worked. He'd come in wanting to learn more about healthy eating, so we'd take him around and explain the benefits of miso paste and whole grains, etc. He was very earnest, but every so often he'd announce "I got the demons in my head!"

Blue Moon is sold as Belgian Moon in Canada - that was my attempt at weaseling into a singleton. That being said, I don't know if any of it is actually brewed at a MillerCoors facility (vs. Molson Coors).

According to this article I found, the name difference appears to be because of a trademark snag between Miller and Molson, so as best as I can tell, it's only brewed by Molson Coors.

Another beautiful day in the TD neighborhood -- with a misspelling on the final question that would have sheeped if spelled correctly (so for those who saved one sheep point by my error, you're quite welcome).

But it was as much fun as ever -- thanks for hosting!

Thanks for the great TD! A great balanced set of clues with a few freebie answers so I don't have to use a drop just to avoid a wrong answer (close call on the fourth question for musical artists, but Cab Callaway was low hanging fruit). There were also singleton opportunites in reach of those of us without deep trivia knowledge.
