Forum Question

Post by ParrotRob »

Being relatively new here, I'm sure there is a pretty good reason for this, but I can't find anything through searching, so I'll just go ahead and ask...
Is there any particular reason that all of JBoard,tv is munged together into one big forum? In another board I participate in (Geocaching) - there are maybe a dozen or so forums where similar topics are grouped together. Now I'm certainly not suggesting that JBoard needs that many forums, but has consideration ever been given to breaking off separate forums within the same board to group together things like daily recaps, TD games, etc?

No, this isn't a complaint, and yes, I appreciate that (unlike Geocaching, which is a commercial venture) the board maintainers/moderators do this on their own time. And yes, I also know that hosting/development/coding/etc is not free and is almost certainly all done on a volunteer basis.

For that I am appreciative and offer a heartfelt thank you.

I don't think this board gets enough traffic that it really matters.

Haven't fixed what ain't broken apparently.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.

Fair enough. I just wasn't sure if it had ever been kicked around and I couldn't find the right combination of search terms that returned a manageable list of results. I knew one of these steel-trap minds would immediately be able to find it ;)

It's a sad thing to see a penguin die lonely and old, drifting on a remote ice floe.
