Beaten by mere seconds. If only I hadn't had to tell my daughter to put the book down and her shoes on so we could go to school for the 5th time this morning.....ha.ouachiouat wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 8:37 am Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, 91, passed away today. Do we really need this, now or ever?triviawayne wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 10:46 amThis is not a new episode, series, or one-and-done movie reunion; it is an untitled unscripted special, meaning a documentary or they just sit around and talk about it for however long the run time is.
I never needed the original series...morbeedo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 11:51 amDo we really need this, now or ever?triviawayne wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 10:46 amThis is not a new episode, series, or one-and-done movie reunion; it is an untitled unscripted special, meaning a documentary or they just sit around and talk about it for however long the run time is.
What, the reunion itself, or someone telling you that it was gonna be this way?morbeedo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 11:51 amDo we really need this, now or ever?triviawayne wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 10:46 amThis is not a new episode, series, or one-and-done movie reunion; it is an untitled unscripted special, meaning a documentary or they just sit around and talk about it for however long the run time is.

I'm dead serious. Did we really need a Friends reunion special?opusthepenguin wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 3:24 pmThis thread's a joke.seaborgium wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 3:07 pmWhat, the reunion itself, or someone telling you that it was gonna be this way?morbeedo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 11:51 amDo we really need this, now or ever?triviawayne wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 10:46 amThis is not a new episode, series, or one-and-done movie reunion; it is an untitled unscripted special, meaning a documentary or they just sit around and talk about it for however long the run time is.
We don’t need Jeopardy!. But it is there for people who want to watch it. If you don’t want to watch the Friends reunion, you don’t have to.morbeedo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 5:19 pmI'm dead serious. I'd've waited another four years so it's on a nice round number, but 16 is fine. (My unofficial reunion benchmark would probably be 15 years comfortably, 10 years absolute minimum.) It was, whether you liked it or not, a cultural touchstone.morbeedo wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 5:19 pmI'm dead serious. Anyway, we won't get it unless we subscribe to HBO Max. It's not even clear that we who get regular HBO will get it. As of now, only AT&T mobile and cable subscribers will get it for free...I think.Volante wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2020 5:54 pmI'd've waited another four years so it's on a nice round number, but 16 is fine. It's not harming me, let them do what they will.
