Re: Notable Coronavirus Deaths
Nick Cordero, Broadway stage actor, has died from COVID-19 complications at the age of 41. He had been hospitalized since March. In 2014, Cordero was nominated for a Tony Award for his performance as mob enforcer Cheech in the comedy Bullets Over Broadway. He also appeared in Waitress, Rock of Ages, and A Bronx Tale: A Musical on the New York stage.
On television, Cordero had guest roles in Queer as Folk and Lilyhammer and had recurring roles in Blue Bloods and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.
Thank you, Linear Gnome, for alerting me to an error that has since been corrected.

I'd rather cuddle then have sex. If you're into grammar, you'll understand.

The huge Jersey Boys copyright case--for which DeVito was the principal defendant before he settled with and joined the plaintiff against Frankie Valli and the others--just concluded a few weeks ago with a decision by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. http://cdn.ca9.uscourts.gov/datastore/o ... -16337.pdfcinemaniax7 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 23, 2020 10:59 am Tommy DeVito, a founding member of the popular doo-wop group the Four Seasons, has died at the age of 92 from COVID-19 complications. Re: Notable Coronavirus Deaths
Jay Johnstone, 74, had a 20-year career as an outfielder for eight different Major League Baseball teams, then got into broadcasting and also did a little acting -- I remember him best as the leadoff hitter for the Seattle Mariners in the film "The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!" (Seattle was not actually one of the teams he played for during his career.)

Trivia fact: the term "reggae" used for a musical style is due at least in part to their song "Do The Reggay."

Not likely to make the show, but if you watched a lot of late-night TV in New York in the early Eighties, you should remember Michael Halkias (aged 82, back in May).
I'm smart and I want respect.

At least as far as I am concerned, this makes him the most famous coronavirus victim to date, although many would never recognize him outside the mask.
