Their ratings took a drop from the week before to about 4 million viewers, they are not lighting the world on fire.

For those not enjoying this incarnation then perhaps they will like NBC's Celebrity Escape Room on May 21?

Nikki and Jane were quite the contrast for how they played. Jane reminded me of Alan Carver. https://millionaire.fandom.com/wiki/Alan_Carver

Should mention that Jane's in studio help was Louis Vertel.
TIL that L. Vertel works for Jimmy Kimmel as a writer.

And Anthony Anderson's studio helper was Jonathan Groth(?), a 5-time J! champion and competitor in a TOC. I may have the last name wrong - I couldn't find him in the archive.

Not many people can say they've lost four times on Jeopardy!.

I looked WeigelD up in LL, and damn he's good! Plus I read his articles all the time (he's a Washington Post reporter). Barinholtz is a D/E rundler, so he made a wise choice in that regard.

Although he finished third in his D rundle in LL84, so he's set for a promotion to C for LL85.

So, was it in place before the first time it happened? Or was it decided at the moment?
Let me help you out:
Alex: And that does it. And I'm going to make an executive decision here; Ed is on the board with -$1100, but I think we wipe that out and credit--let's make it a +$1100--

[Applause]

Alex: --and that way he'll be around to play in Final Jeopardy!

Ed: Thank you so much.

That's not possible, Alex must be lying. Everything that happens on Jeopardy! even Celebrity Jeopardy!, has to be codified in the official Rulebook. Wayne told me.

Wait, what rule? The one Alex made up on the spot?

Right, you're agreeing with me that Alex was lying. He wasn't making an executive decision, he was just following the rulebook.
