Well, if it weren’t for being scr having a disagreement with the person running this TD, I’d be doing pretty good...

Thanks for putting this together. My first time on the podium despite completely missing the HOF requirement for the baseball players. I credit growing up on the campus of UMBC for the Retrievers singleton and sharing a birthday with W.H. Harrison for that one.

And I would have won had I put Picadilly for question 10 (as I thought of doing) as the question did not initially specify the US version ;)

Thanks again.

Let me copy your line with a little change:

Thanks for putting this together. Not my first time on the podium despite completely missing the HOF requirement for the baseball players.

Next time I am doing the bonus first so that I still have brain cells left to read and process what's wanted instead of doing it last and failing to RTFQ.

Way to go BS13.

Thanks for the TD and to everyone who played. At least I got a singleton out of Monroe, but then unfortunately reverted to type with Atlantic City.

That was fun, thought-provoking, irritating, frustrating, and caused both elation and depression. It was everything a TD should be.

In looking at the reveal, I am AMAZED at how much work went into scoring (and reporting) the bonus questions. The bonus questions by themselves represent an astounding amount of time and effort for the moderator, and I am in awe.

I was prepared to argue the "not used" list for the second bonus, until I re-read the actual working of the question more closely:
clt013 wrote: Fri May 01, 2020 9:28 am 11. (BONUS) - Choose one of two categories and give up to 8 answers - earning a BONUS of -1 for each 2 correct responses. "Think different" enough to avoid giving any answers among the top 4 (plus ties) most used in that category and earn an extra -1.

I thought, "Ooops, wonder what highway map that came from, U.S. 40 passes through neither Fort Collins nor Colorado Springs." Then I finally realized from the phrasing of the question it didn't need to. Sigh -- missed a chance as a Fort Collins resident to give my town a shoutout.

But it would have been moot, anyway. Chewing wool on half the questions doesn't do a lot for one's score.

Thanks for the fun addition to our stay-at-home activities!

Thanks for hosting!

I, too, have made the mistake of confusing US highways and Interstate highways in TD. In one of the first ones I entered, I confidently submitted that I-59 went through Kansas because I had recently driven US-59 from Kansas City to Tulsa.

Thank you! Third time was the charm I guess

It was pretty touch-and-go with you at the end, especially when I sheeped with Harding. But I knew I had my Drop next and for sure a -4 on the bonus. I tried to avoid the sheep by not saying Babe Ruth or Hank Aaron, but it turned out "Say Hey" was the popular one.

Great game everyone and I look forward to the next one!
