I was really looking forward to the School of Rock Mini-League...but it turned out to be a humiliating experience. Not only did I finish dead last in my group, I was the only one not to win a match, had fewest TCA and fewest TMP. Thank goodness it's over.

Hoping for a better time with the Pen and Paper Math 1D.

I felt pretty good about the School of Rick ML, as I usually do with general knowledge type quizzes. However, when you’re in a group with someone who gets 64/66 questions correct, there’s limited opportunity to make the Championship.

I was in 2nd place in my group in the School of Rock ML, then tied on the last day which put me in 3rd. No championship for me, either.

School of Rock has been my best-ever ML performance: 10-0-1 record and 52 TCAs. (I also had a 10-0-1 record in 20th Century Women last year, but only had 48 TCAs there.)

Curious which two questions they missed?

These two:

I didn't play this ML and, in reviewing the matches, would have done quite poorly. Funny, however, that I knew both of these questions.

I ended up in 14th place in the School of Rock Championship! Pretty cool, too, because I only got nine correct. Everyone ahead of me was in double-digits. So close to getting ten right. I chose Calhoun for Q1, and turns out he was involved in the 1844 election, but got beat out by Polk for the Democratic party nomination.

PSA: tomorrow my R-rated 1DS on Philip K Dick goes live. If you're a dedicated Dick-head like me, you should give it a look

Well, yay me. Co-champion of the B5 1DS. That was certainly my last, best hope to win one of them. :)

Well done. 12R 4/5 correct $ placement. Not your fault your surname is not Aaron to be at the top of the list.

Congrats! Winning any 1ds is a big deal! I came in 12th on a 1day for a subject I have taught at university for 15 years. You know that stuff!

Congrats! Winning a 1DS is a big deal. I don’t think I’ve gone 12/12 yet on one.

It's an embarrassment of riches for us TV trivia fans this off-season. We had 60s TV COMEDY, and now there's VERY SPECIAL EPISODES, which is live until tomorrow. Very much a must-play, if that's your thing.

Thank you, as I may have missed it otherwise. Whatever my score, it will be better than Lucario could do on it. ;)

That was my 2nd. I had a 12/12 on the Doctor Who 1DS way back in 2014, but poor moneying dropped me to 12th.

I had one 12/12, ended up 10th place. Indy 500.

Took me maybe two minutes to complete the questions, and another 10-15 on moneying. When you know something so well, it's very hard to determine what the general population will know at all.

I think even a tie for 1st is amazing.
