I'm only playing the FJ!s, but I will say that I got this one since it was the most logical name I could associate with birth.

Richard was in a dilemma on the last DD. He could clinch the game by betting $2,201, but that puts his lock at risk. So he bet small as he admitted it wasn’t his best category. You could see the regret on his face when he got it right. I had never heard of that character. So it came down to hoping Lateefah didn’t get the last $2000, which she didn’t.

A risky move by her on FJ betting zero ahead of a doctor on a medical FJ. But he was the only one not to know it so it worked out for her.

Instaget for me.

Oh, Lance Armstrong. How far has he fallen?

I always associated Hillary with "Because it's there," but I knew he didn't die on the mountain so it couldn't have been him

Oh Lord, won't you buy me...

Coryat: $36,200

J: 24R5P1W. Got DD. 5/5 on Archipelagos, Air Force, and Museums. 4/5 on Emmy. 2/5 on Made Of.

DJ: 23R5P2W. 1/2 on DDs. 5/5 on Consumer Reports. 4/5 on Movies, Party, and Like.

FJ: I said Spock at first, but wasn't comfortable with it and continued thinking, came up with Lamaze with about ten seconds to go

LT: National Gallery, Wadsworth, likelihood, Mercedes-Benz

We were puzzling over why this game was rebroadcast this week. Presumably it was for Alex’s trip to the AFB in Japan, or was there some other aspect of significance to this game?

I loved the bit at the end of Round 1 where Alex started getting censored before getting escorted away from that jet. :)

They're just picking games where Alex was given a chance to shine. It's a final tribute to a man who always shone the spotlight on the contestants and the clues and never made the game about him.

Lateefah had a sole get; Richard responded Spock.

What is the highest score a contestant has achieved before either other contestant has been heard from? (I checked Ken's game where he ran the first two categories and they broke for commercial early, and one of the other contestants got the first clue after the commercial.)

You missed the game where Ken ran the first two categories plus clue 11, they broke for commercial early, and Ken got the first three clues after the commercial as well: http://www.j-archive.com/showscores.php?game_id=2731.

Me too. Someone must have saved that and can upload the clip so we can all watch it again. Please oh please?

PS to the penguin, thanks for creating the videos, two of which I watched last week when I couldn't watch live. Much appreciated.

Well, I completely tanked on this one. The only name I could think of that even began to make sense was "St Jude". Y'know, that Danny Thomas charity.
