I wonder how this will affect the marriage??

I love it! Clearly that's all in the past. I hear Mrs. PH found a mash note, but she's such a sweet potato she forgave all and it didn't drive a wedge between them...

Doubt that we’ll ever see clues about Larry Nasser or John Geddert. Jeopardy! won’t touch that

Comments on movies I mentioned in the main thread:

I Care A Lot with Pike & Dinklage butting heads will make you feel a lot of emotions and I found myself yelling & talking at the screen many times in the first half.

Coming 2 America coming all these years after the 1988 original is the kind of thing the J! writers love and be ready for some kind of math work clue about the gap. James Earl Jones will also be back again.

We bought a bunch of Suess books when our son (now 23) was young. He kept them in good shape so we saved them to save him money when he has kids. Unfortunately, we lost the whole collection in a tornado in 2018. Mulberry Street is the only one we owned. I may head to a bookstore tomorrow to look for a copy.

Wait that's a comedy?? I turned it off after 10 minutes because it was going to be too intense of a psychological horror movie.
I had a dream that I was asleep and then I woke up and Jeopardy! was on.

Well, the Golden Globes also categorized "The Martian" as a comedy.

Yeah, the categories for the Globes are really "Prestige Drama" and "Literally Everything Else"

While it might seem shortsighted to invest in digital memorabilia (like, you know, a tweet...) because when infrastructure collapses vanishing that stuff into the aether making them worthless...the $2 mil thought bought it in the first place would similarly be worthless, so...six of one there?

No words...

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-56335948
An original Banksy, which was burnt and destroyed in a livestreamed video, has been sold via a digital token representing the work for $380,000 (£274,000).
...
The work was sold as digital art through NFT (non-fungible token) technology.
...
"You can say anything is a work of art... but if you burn a Banksy and then want money for it, that ranks pretty low on the art scale for me."

As many times as I've heard the title of that book, I don't think I've ever heard the author's name, except that the Archive shows three name-checks in the past decade and a half.

#6185, aired 2011-07-01 CHILDREN'S LIT CHARACTERS $200: In a Norton Juster novel, bored Milo perks up when he receives a "phantom" one of these
#5781, aired 2009-11-02 BOOK ENDS $1000: In this Norton Juster novel, Milo wants to drive his car through the title entry but it's gone because others need it
#4846, aired 2005-10-10 IN THE BOOKSTORE $800: Milo meets a dog named Tock (who has a giant alarm clock for a body) in this classic by Norton Juster

I re-read it a few years as an adult (obviously). It's still great. And the Jules Feiffer illustrations are wonderful. The movie is pretty good, too.

Here was Juster's opinion on the film, as cribbed from Wikipedia: "It was a film I never liked. I don't think they did a good job on it. It's been around for a long time. It was well reviewed, which also made me angry."
