Blue Ivy Carter, the 9-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, has won her first Grammy for Best Music Video for her collaboration on "Brown Skin Girl."

Amazingly, she is only the second-youngest Grammy winner ever (Leah Peasall won one in 2001 at age 8).

Oscar nominations have arrived:

Chloé Zhao has become the first woman to receive four Oscar nominations in a single year, with nods for best picture (as producer), director, film editing, and adapted screenplay for her film Nomadland. Zhao is one of two women nominated for best director this year, another first for the Oscars. The other woman nominated in this category is Emerald Fennell, director of Promising Young Woman.

Minari star Steven Yeun is the first Asian American ever nominated for best actor.

Sound of Metal star Riz Ahmed is the first person of Pakistani descent ever nominated for any acting Oscar.

Yuh-Jung Youn, a supporting actress nominee for Minari, is the first Korean person ever nominated for an acting Oscar.

Chadwick Boseman, best actor nominee for Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, is the first actor of color to earn a posthumous Oscar nomination.

Judas and the Black Messiah is the first movie with an all-Black producing team—Shaka King, Charles D. King and Ryan Coogler—to be nominated for best picture.

Leslie Odom Jr. (One Night in Miami) became the fourth performer to earn acting and songwriting nominations for the same film after Cynthia Erivo (Harriet), Lady Gaga (A Star is Born), and Mary J. Blige (Mudbound) did so previously.

Romania and Tunisia earned their first-ever Oscar nominations in the International Feature Film category, for Collective and The Man Who Sold His Skin, respectively.

Mank, the behind-the-scenes drama about the making of Citizen Kane, leads all films with ten nominations.

Netflix leads all studios with a total of thirty-five nominations.

A couple of records were broken at this year's Grammy Awards:

• Beyoncé broke Alison Krauss's record for most Grammy wins by a woman, winning her 28th. Beyoncé ties Quincy Jones as the living person with the most Grammy trophies. Both trail the late classical conductor George Solti, who won a record 31 awards.

• J! favorite Taylor Swift became the first woman to win Album of the Year three times, winning this year for Folklore. Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, and Paul Simon have also won the award three times.
