Read The Hunger Games well before the movie(s) arrived.
Carrara felt like a NHOI even though I’ve seen the name previously.
Bull Moose & Socialist after crossing out Democratic in thinking “left” with 2021 state of mind while overlooking finishing position at first glance
Seen parts of some Phantom movies as a kid when my dad watched Chaney and Lom versions.
Knew Elie Wiesel was not the guy and blanked on the Nazi tracker
Saw all the Couric games and plan to see all the Oz ones.

My great-great-grandfather, Luigi Squasoni, was a sculptor who came from Carrara and he even did work on St. Patrick's Cathedral.

When I was either 9 or 10, my grandpa gave me a marble art-nouveau style plate that he sculpted. I don't remember where I put it, but I know I have it somewhere.

I can't remember what I said Tuesday. Maybe Alabaster. Marble was as far as I got. Carrara is totally unfamiliar.
Progressive and Communist.

Have not seen/read any of The Hunger Games series. I did know the name Panem; if you'd asked me before Monday, I'd have assumed it was a corruption of "Pan-Am."
I've seen the Phantom musical movie (with Emmy Rossum), but not any stage performances.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Tue - Marbala
Wed - Bull Moose + Socialist

Cold Mountain would have been a DD get.
For some reason the mouth blurted out Warsaw for Brahe...don't know what happened there

Have read and seen all of the Hunger Games trilogy

Carrara feels WWTBAM gettable but not open ended gettable for me.

Seen Phantom twice in LA with Gaines.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

No guess Monday and Alabaster Tuesday. Surprised I got a Broadway and Artist FJ, but those are both top tier in those categories. Said Progressive for Teddy’s party. Never seen Phantom or read any of the books or seen the movies. Don’t recall hearing of the marble city.

I watched all of Katie just like I watched all of the last two and will the rest if fate allows.

My at-home performance has been reeeeal bad lately because I forced myself to stay off the computer for two weeks. It feels like my trivia skills have hit a speed bump. All I'll say is I missed even the Friday FJ because I keep getting Picasso mixed up with Van Gogh.
My lucky numbers are 6, 66, and 666.

Wiesenthal was in my brain but couldn't pull him out. Given how things are polling so far, probably my best brag box of the season to date.

Had a dreadful week. Picasso saved me from the box of shame.

Tried the wordplay angle for Monday, best I could do was Pandora. Tuesday was a NHO. Overlooked the "1/3 vote" part on Wednesday, said Bull Moose and Democratic. WAGed Oliver! for Thursday (which now that I looked it up, was nowhere near 2,500 performances, so I wasn't close on that one).

Clammed on Wiesenthal. Viewed/read nothing from The Hunger Games or Phantom of the Opera.

I don't care who guest hosts, I'll be watching.

Of all the clues to miss this week: I drew a blank on the capital of Denmark... !
Said Bull Moose, did not remember it was also Progressive, don't think it should have been controversial that either was acceptable...
I used the extra time on the triple stumper to remember Wiesenthal...
I stopped reading after the first Hunger Games when I realized I was supposed to care whether Katniss picked Peeta or Gale...I did care enough to see all the movies, though!
I've taken out-of-towners to POTO at least 3 times, though I couldn't say who was in the lead any time. Mediocre musical, brilliant spectacle...

I’ve seen all 3 Hunger Games movies, each with declining interest. I knew Carrara instantly because of the marble. I didn’t realize it was a city; I thought it was a region. I thought of Elie Wiesel for Wiesenthal. I went to school with a Wiesenthal; I’m not sure if they were related. I’ve seen Miss Saigon, Cats, & Les Miz on stage and that’s all the AL-W BS I need.

For some reason, I thought Carrara was spelled C-A-R-R-E-R-A. Perhaps it was because of Barbara Carrera, the sunglasses, or a combination of the two. So I guessed Alabaster too.

Clearly declining interest...because there's four movies. :D

Hunger Games seemed likely as the relevant work on Monday, but I know almost nothing.

I saw Phantom on Broadway and missed OJ on the freeway. It seemed the obvious thing to guess, though Michael Crawford is the only name I could have identified.

I'd heard of a mai tai but not of Muay Thai. I wasn't very sorry when 1600 and 2000 went unplayed.

I recognized the inscription as Babe Ruth's, though he's not my idea of bottom-row material.

I figured out what "HBU" must mean once Grambling was revealed, but it was quite mysterious up till then.

I watched several of KC's shows online, which I have only recently started to do.
