It should have been. There's a whole song about why.
Anybody else sing TMBG lyrics to the "Think!" music tonight?
I was thinking of the Four Lads’ 1953 original. Same lyrics, though.

Was thinking Q no U was going to be a Scrabble player's dream category, but it turned out not to be as only 1 of the 5 responses were valid Scrabble words.

Of course. The added information is correct so you don't get penalized.
But that's nobody's business but the Turks'.

The moronic captions changed Cobh to “Cove.” If you go to ireland, it’s one of the prettiest harbors in the world. Gypsies, nothing else. Good game for Kelly. He’s getting better every day!

43R. 3/4 on big clues. Did not get "Stealing His Thunder."

I was in an audition group with Nick Arciero a year ago. Cool to see a familiar face on the show. Wish it had worked out better for him.

Some clues that I missed that I want to get next time are Tennessee/"Rocky Top", Quotations, monkey king/Hanuman, Hank Azaria, and Robin Quivers.

I got "Robin" but couldn't pull the last name. I need to add monkey king to my list of things I get confused. Hanuman is the Hindu monkey king and Sun Wukong is a Chinese monkey king.

Got Colette got this time. Didn't know the name of her husband but 1-named French woman author was enough.

Answer 1: A violin burns longer.

Answer B: A violin holds more beer.
Wouldn't a viola hold more beer?
I had a dream that I was asleep and then I woke up and Jeopardy! was on.

Lach Trach - Maya Angelou, War DD
There was someting to help with a jewel of hidden TOM in "currently known as this city". Renamed cities that I can list offhand are the correct answer, a couple of Russian ones, Beijing/Peking, Hanoi/whatever, I'm out of time / Tulsa.
Problem was I completely missed the TOM and focused on my worst topic which is mythology. I just guessed Athens because, well, I don't know what it is named after, and I do know about Romulus and Remus.

I actually thought the Byzantium answer should have counted, until I re-read (actually read) the whole clue.
I would have gotten Istanbul with my guess from the TOM (and yes, the song). If you asked me "what is the current name of ancient Byzantium", I would probably say Tehran. The 8th grade Social Studies synapse connecting Byzantium to Turkey/Ottoman has been replaced with the revision to the Gilligan's Island theme song (adding the Professor and Mary Ann).

eta - another city - even Old New York was once New Amsterdam :)

My grandmother was from Cobh - then known as Queenstown. She saw the bodies washed ashore from the Lusitania as a young woman.

Bleh, I need to commit the word "phlegmatic" to memory because I'm pretty sure I missed it the last time it was a correct response too.

Regina, Saskatchewan was originally known as Pile of Bones. But that's way beyond the level of most Jeopardy! contestants. Maybe for a TOC. Or maybe supply Pile of Bones AND Regina in the clue and name the category STARTS WITH "SASK".

I remain on Team Ken for a permanent host for a lot of reasons, but Anderson Cooper has been the best guest host by far.

Got to the FJ solve without trouble. It was immaterial, but the $2400 bet surprised me.

Once I recognized the theme of the Hard Science category, I would have been very disappointed if there hadn't been a Mohs scale question. :)
