The audience for her CC was loud and boisterous is my memory.bigblue999 wrote: ↑Wed May 26, 2021 7:42 pm A short OBIT is posted here. It's the second to last one.

Here is an article about her group taking the test where she is one of the people interviewed by the paper.

I'm deeply saddened to read this, and especially so knowing that Carolyn passed so long ago and none of us were aware.
In the aftermath of the UToC in 2005, five of us J! vets who lived in the Bay Area at the time spent an evening together playing pub trivia in the company of Jon Carroll, the longtime human interest columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle. The quintet included the esteemed Dr. Dan Melia, the equally esteemed Steve "OldSchoolChamp" Chernicoff, Ken Jennings victim (but no less esteemed) Bruce England, Carolyn (a category of esteem unto herself), and myself (along for the ride).
Here's the column that Mr. Carroll created from our big night out: https://www.sfgate.com/entertainment/ca ... 629056.php
It was my only occasion to meet Carolyn -- who was as charming and whip-smart in person as you would have guessed from her televised appearances -- and I'm sorry that we never had another such occasion. May she rest in peace.
