Ankit was a pretty good contestant to watch. Sad to see him go.

Mayim on the other hand... Well she's definitely not my choice for permanent host.

Barry Bonds became a lifetime .300 hitter only after turning 40. Alas (for him) he didn't retire in time to remain one.
Well lucky for the Giants that he didn't retire, as he was a top-5 hitter in all of baseball over those final two seasons.

And he didn't so much retire as get blacklisted haha

I spotted a "classic" (In other words appalling) closed caption. The Honololu "gem" is Diamond Ted.

"Teddy Ballgame" and "The Splendid Splinter" are already taken by Ted Williams, so we'll need to use this nickname for some other baseball playing Ted. Maybe Ted Simmons.

Lou Brock?
My guess is that the contestant heard "walks" (i.e. bases on balls) and conflated it with stolen bases, where Brock would have been a plausible guess.

Another FJ! I was able to get right away by matching "Spanish word for key" to "country that is surrounded entirely by another country".

Could not pull Josh Gibson. Had plutonium for antimatter. :|
I got Josh Gibson but blanked on Pete Rose. I won't let myself live that down for quite awhile.

Lou Brock?
I can understand not knowing who holds the walks record or not knowing him by the picture, but guessing a player who retired 25 years before the season cited in the answer was particularly bad.

Instaget FJ.

I have to say I'm terrible with women, this time I'm all right.

It can be easy to confuse John Milton with James Hilton.

This.

It was clear she couldn't pick a 40 year old Lou Brock out of a line-up.
