Hawaii and Bering (grasping at straws for the latter name), no guess, Dorian Grey
Said Debs instead of Bryan. I know better than that.

I have seen Alien (but none of the others), but not read Pride nor seen it adapted.
Oh, what has science wrought? I sought only to turn a man into a metal-encased juggernaut of destruction powered by the unknown properties of a mysterious living crystal. How could this have all gone wrong?

Aristophanes last came up in the ToC
WJB came up as a FJ in February, when someone got it wrong by saying "Bryant"

Never seen Alien, but I have seen Spaceballs.

Haile Selassie was my dad's only precall based on the category, so there's a slight asterisk on my Wednesday get, but I think it was easy enough.

I think there could have been poll options for those who got at least the Hawaiian portion of Monday's FJ, to see whether people said "Hawaii," "the big island," or both. (I would have been both, with the latter in parentheses.)

The first time I ever watched a movie on an airplane, it was Alien in 2010, and that was the only time I've seen it. I have neither read P&P nor watched a film adaptation of it (though my mom is obsessed with adaptations of it and thus I've gleaned bits here and there).

Off topic: today is the twelfth anniversary of my fifth episode.

Exorcist came to mind first, but Alien unseated it with plenty of time to spare.

I had the right guy in mind on the Selassie clue... But think of his name in time?? NO way.

I had Hawaii, but couldn't even think of a name of an Alaskan island, and wasn't sure anyhow... Winter anywhere in Alaska seemed wayyyy too cold.

I know a few birders, but have less than zero interest in it myself. I have even heard of the birders talking about their lists, but never heard the term "life list". They just say, "list".

Had Hawaii, knew they wanted an Alaskan island but couldn’t come up with one

Have seen parts of Alien, not sure I have seen it straight through. Have seen and read The Exorcist.

Have seen several versions of Pride and Prejudice , still didn’t have a guess.

All of the above.

Have seen Alien many, many times.

Never seen/read P&P.

Life list was a WAG, but I'll take it.
Yes, I've seen Alien
No, I haven't read Pride & Prejudice. I've seen enough synopses to recognize Mr. Darcy, tho. :D

Seen all Alien films except AVP2...which I literally forgot existed until I started counting them. (Can I count the Alien3 workprint instead?)

Seen both the Colin Firth BBC miniseries and the Keira Knightley big screen versions. Also the film version of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Never actually read any of it.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

I've read the novel and seen at least three versions of Pride & Prejudice. Four, if you count Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. Although I love Greer Garson, I've believe Jennifer Ehle is the definitive Elizabeth Bennett. Also from the 1995 miniseries, Colin Firth is the one and only Mr. Darcy.

Started the week in a bad FJ streak (and completely misread Tuesday's clue!) so relieved to break out of it.
Pride and Prejudice is a very enjoyable novel/adapted story, even if you're not a chick... Kind of like Alien...
"Life list" sounds vaguely familiar, but I didn't get there despite the strong hint.

Danged Brit lit. Something of a hole in my knowledge base. And this week it cost me.

Friday, right book, right guy, misspelled his name. Gah.
Euripides instead of Aristophanes. Tragedian instead of comedies. Rats.

Started Pride and Prejudice several times; never made it past the halfway point. Have seen chunks of a couple of different adaptations, but never a complete production.

O'Bannon didn't know what he was starting. Still waiting for #3 of the Alien prequel series, but it's looking like it is in the throes of perpetual development and keeps going back to the drawing board. Hope Covenant doesn't turn out to be the film that killed the franchise.
I'm not the defending Jeopardy! champion. But I have played one on TV.

Exorcist on Thursday. Didn't Dan O'Bannon run a flower shop on State Street?

Mr. Rochester on Friday. Except for last week (I went 3/5), I've gotten 4/5 every week dating back to the week of 5/31.

Have seen Alien, but have not seen/read Pride and Prejudice. Say, that gives me a crossover idea...

I've seen Alien several times and am overdue for a rewatch (revisited Aliens a few weeks ago and it still holds up as one of the all-time great action films).
I would prefer not to.
