First full credits run of the season. I'll do a video after this post.
The opening was different and had a B&W Fleming board and the featured champ was Julia Collins. That's appropriate on the day Matt tied her for regular wins.
GAME STOP $400:
In the NFL regular season, overtime games end after nobody scores in the period that’s this many minutes long
I laughed as soon as I marked my correct response as I expected a miss. Matt was the first victim guessing too high and Daniel went too low Elizabeth was Baby Bear to be just right.
After DD3 it was still a lock although Daniel continued well enough to have it broken for a good portion of the DJ! round until he had one too many letters in CROSSWORD CLUES "M" while Matt rebounded it without having to count on his fingers.
The FJ! category had me scared. The FJ! clue had me writing immediately and I matched Matt.
The Archive has one previous hit for the name in the FJ! clue:
#1184, aired 1989-10-26 WORD ORIGINS: Where you'd naturally find armalcolite, named for the 3 men who 1st handled it

Is Bleeding Fingers Music listed as one of the music arrangers? The new theme sounds like it was done by Bleeding Fingers because it has a more Hans Zimmer cinematic feel

The new studio set has a strange flavor akin to this:

Really cool to see the 60s/70s Jeopardy in the Opening Credits. RuPauls Drag Race kept me from a sweep in the Reality TV Category.

Re: Tuesday, September 14, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
I was stumped trying to figure out three scientists in the name. Then the year clicked in and put down the two moon walkers although I certainly knew the third.
Glad Daniel’s slip up on multivitamin(s) didn’t cost him the game as he missed FJ and Matt got it. Actually saved him $1000 as he didn’t have to make a huge wager.

Even with 1969 staring me in the face, I didn't think of the moon landing. Oh well.

Discovering a mineral? Must be some famous mineralogist that everyone's heard of except me.
I tried poking at the name and date, but nothing else came out. Probably didn't help that I parsed it as ar-mal-co and couldn't come up with any famous "mal" names.

Let's say you connect 1969 to the Moon. Do you solve the clue correctly?TenPoundHammer wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 7:44 pm Discovering a mineral? Must be some famous mineralogist that everyone's heard of except me.

How about megavitamins instead of multivitamin? Fits the 12 letters are least.
Also, I hope everyone read my post 2 months ago in the Current Events discussion thread to get this free $2000: viewtopic.php?p=358577#p358577

Re: Tuesday, September 14, 2021 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
Anyone else get Mount Moriah? (I just said Moriah, but I'm assuming they'd take it.) That was a pretty deep pull for Bible knowledge. Even back in the day it might have been a TS.
Started out wondering if the Arm referred to Armand Hammer, but couldn't get any traction on that. Got as far as thinking the col could be some guy named Colgate before giving up and starting over. Went back to Arm and thought, maybe Armstrong and that's when I thought of Buzz Armstrong and everything clicked and I noticed the 1969 which I hadn't really been paying attention to. Not really the "right" way to get it, I suppose, but it worked and I had plenty of time to decide which two I wanted to write down.

Probably not, because I still likely would have snagged on "mal".MarkBarrett wrote: ↑Tue Sep 14, 2021 7:51 pmLet's say you connect 1969 to the Moon.
