Oliver is misspelled in the Celebrity Astrology $400 clue in the J! Round.
Correction suggestion seen and fixed, thanks.

I added 5/9/95: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6707

Ben Lyon defeated Cynthia Greenlee and Pat Toft.

Oops, I did this game before SF1. No biggie, I'll try to get 5/8/95 in later today though working around two different Zoom meetings.

Nice alignment in the contestant list (at least in my phone's browser):
8B0E27EB-B7AF-4235-A01F-CD58BE509688.jpeg
8B0E27EB-B7AF-4235-A01F-CD58BE509688.jpeg (92.04 KiB) Viewed 6338 times
After seeing that Cynthia was both the contestant that wrote "Ytterium" and the one preteen me thought said "Salt-N-Pepper," I was curious to see whether she was also the contestant whom I remembered responding to a clue about a card game with "What is Goldfish?" instead of Go Fish. (She was not. That would be in a Teen Tournament almost four years later.)

15W - same guess happy contestants whether seniors or college...perhaps I need to go back to teen games. Ugh! 1995 C F2 tomorrow of course to complete that one.

I added 5/12/95: http://www.j-archive.com/showgame.php?game_id=6709

Rebekah Reeves, Ben Lyon and Steve Smith to complete the 1995 College Championship

Rebekah was in a rare spot (if not only time?) to play DD3 at clue 30 of F2.

If it isn’t the only time I am sure Cheezy or Sg will correct you soon.

Interesting wager by Ben in FJ.

The S9 College Championship is only missing two QF games. Could you get those in after your other requests? I just like seeing things get cleared out.

It's not a correction, it's a clarification. :ugeek: :)

Other times when the third Daily Double came at clue 30 in a deciding game:
1987 Tournament of Champions final game 2
1997 International Tournament final game 2
1999-A Teen Tournament final game 2
2003 Teen Tournament final game 2
2004 College Championship final game 2

The last one is the only time when the DD may have affected the outcome, but I'll leave it to seaborgium to correct me clarify if I'm wrong about that. ;)

Patricia could have bet another $680 to protect second place. What was she smoking?

^Probably the same stuff Laurie Dotson was smoking back in 2010 (to know who I'm talking about, read this: http://www.gameshowgarbage.com/ind049_pricelaurie.html)

Tournament games unarchived:
Seniors-51 with two others partially entered
College-13 with one other partially entered
Teen-36, including nine from S7 with introductions only.
Full list here: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2136&p=332939#p332939

So we are down to 100 unarchived tournament games plus two other partials. How many do you estimate you have?

************

Since I have the power I will put a pause on Jeff's requests to jump, tomorrow morning, to one of animfan's requests that includes SF2 from this tourney which will complete it. Then I'll switch back to Jeff's other ones for the 1995 Teens.

************
Bamaman: My recollection is that so far I have posted about there being 9.5 games I do not have. Until I discover otherwise I expect to have the other tourney games not in the archive. With S36 J! done I'm trying to stay with the pace of two-a-days as time allows.

With this June being much lighter on sports and the networks not having as much of the usual new summer programming I'm taking advantage of it to work at a higher pace than has been typical in the past. As is tradition I'll treat myself to a week or so off around July 4th for a J! break.

After that as long as all goes well I'll do my best to try to knock off more of the tourney games and it could be I'll be done with what I have some time in August.

That would leave the Archive still missing more than 1,000 games while any special ones would be well over 90%+ archived

J-Archive is not working as of 8:25 PT this morning as I only got as far as entering the players for a new game before it went down.

Don't worry Mark, I'm sure the J-Archive site will return and the media file captures for the majority of Season 25 should be fixed (I don't know about the latter though).
