35R!
Alex's opening remarks included wondering how he would do with pronouncing some of the words. He was not kidding. Give that game to Buzzy and Ken cold and see who does better.

Add DD1 to the list where Alex displayed something.
Another outgoing 5xer who did not give 2nd place a chance to return and make money. Not that it would have happened anyway. In their spots I know I'm betting 3500 and 5500.
Very nice stat line for Paul's original 5.
Staying in order, games through 11/2 are now available. Tomorrow I will do 6/18/91 which recently came to light.

Forgot one more comment for the 10/19/95 game above. Does Sara get to blame Schoolhouse Rock! for missing J25?

I thought the same thing. Agree on the FJ wagering. I don’t get why second wouldn’t go all in, especially with no third player to worry about. Always thought it was nice to offer a tie on the fifth day.MarkBarrett wrote: ↑Thu Jul 15, 2021 10:56 pm Forgot one more comment for the 10/19/95 game above. Player pics of Mary-Agnes Bornhoeft, Elliot Maggin and Brad Colgate:
The recording did not have introductions so the info I have on the players comes from the chat.
Elliot has a Wikipedia page that, no surprise, does not mention his J! appearance: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elliot_S._Maggin
Mary-Agnes and her last name could end with -hoff, -hoft, etc.?
Brad as a composer was just local church stuff, so no real help there confirming if Colgate is indeed correct. Still not sure although that is what it sounded like Alex said. Brad could of course be Bradford, Bradley, etc.
I won't be doing an old game tomorrow, so any of the 1995s are up for grabs.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive
I heard Alex say Mary-Agnes Bornhoft before the interview.
Also the second set of quotation marks go between the ’R’ and ’S’ in Head “Turner”s.
There’s a possibility that Brad Colgate may have played against 5-time champion Mark Born in the game he lost.

Turner category fixed, thanks.
Yes, Brad played in Mark Born game 1. It's not a possibility; it's counting.
For Mary-Agnes can anyone find an article or social media or novel she wrote to confirm the last name? It seems like we're hearing the same thing and it's just a matter of spelling.

Re: New old games in the J! Archive
I found a listing for an attorney in New York by that spelling that said she was admitted to the bar in 1986. If she finished law school at 25 she would have been around 30 when this game aired.
Edit…Found something giving her current age as 64, making her 34 at the time of this game.

Yes. Brad had a lock in his game three win.
Game 4
Brad 5200-2501=2699
Margaret 7700-7600=100
Mark 7500+7499=14999

Re: New old games in the J! Archive
I hope those of you who are seeing the unarchived Season 12 episodes I put into my Google Drive are enjoying them. I just wanted to give the quick heads-up that after I recorded the '95 ToC after in reaired on GSN I lost interest in recording games regularly. But I do have 13 more S12 eps and 4 S13 eps that are still not in the archive, so I'll be putting them into the Google Drive next.
I guess for anyone who is looking to see the games in order we would have to reach out to '96 ToC'er Michael Daunt (MDaunt) to see if he'd be willing to share his episodes and any of the episodes that took place prior to or after his run, should he have them in his possession.

One of the better games I've ever had the privilege to archive.
Nice FJ! clue as there are at least three ways to go wrong.
jf87 all of us here are grateful for all of the games you have shared and have yet to share. Thank you so much for helping to get the archive filled in a little bit more.
Michael Daunt has communicated in the past that he has his games. We'll see if they ever turn up.

During think time I expected a Rosetta, wondered if possibly someone would try Carnarvon (or Howard Carter) and hoped not to see a Schliemann/Troy/Turkey play.
