Amy has no competition over 60 clues as dropping 4,000 on DD1 made no difference overall. If Amy had missed DD2 she would have led 10600 to 3000. After DD3 it was 27000 to 3000.

I bet Dan wishes he was not first in for the Muppet name to match Pyle and Ghostbuster Hudson. At least he did not say Denver?

The FJ! category precalls I had were BAFTA, César, Victoria & Iron Cross and Croix de Guerre.

The FJ! clue had me match Dan for best guess. I'm glad J! does not make a player figure out the where and direction for accent marks.

Big penalty again for Amy missing with a large lead. She's sure taking her time getting up to 1.2 million.

I got FJ right, despite having no idea when he lived and wasn’t 100% certain he was French.

Don't know if this little detail helped any other viewers at home, but....

In the clue regarding Pasteur's development of a vaccine for "this disease," the document they flashed on the screen read in bold letters, "hydrophobia." If you know that's another name for rabies, well, they kind of gave it to us.

I miss Yugos. They made such great joke fodder. (Why do Yugos have rear windshield defoggers? So you can keep your hands warm while you're pushing them.)

I'm clearly not as well read as many really great J! champs (such as Amy, obviously) so it tickled me when I saw the clue about the character predicting an eclipse and I recalled reading that in "A Connecticut Yankee...."

I do wonder if Amy is bothered by some of her huge FJ losses. After KJ has spent so much time praising her ability in the final, it seems kind of ironic that she seems to be stacking up the big losses of late. No gut, no glory, I suppose, and her overall record justifies taking the big chances, but that's a lot of bucks to see evaporate after working so hard over two rounds to amass big totals.

I was expecting the judges to deduct from Taryn's total after after she negged on the DiMaggio consecutive "win" streak in the interview.

I loved that Taryn wanted a 'win streak' for herself in Jeopardy! for the length of DiMaggio's streak.

Tonight's sweepstakes' page is the same as last night, with the tonight's final jeopardy category as the answer. But it won't let me enter, since it says I entered already. I'll try again in the morning.

I took World Lit in college with great begrudgementation as a required humanity. Today, I finally cashed in that wasted time and tuition. My choices were either Moliere or (I can't think of his name). My brain fart helped me (Voltaire was the alternate) from making the wrong choice.

I applied my golf scorecard ciphering skills to come up with 108. That was a rough 9-hole course :o . The birdie on #8 was nice, however.

35K Coryat? Isn't that on the insane side? This isn't great television. The highlight is hoping that both contestants get to play Final Jeopardy.

Bert Campaneris? Those of the right age would have immediately thought of this:

His other claim to fame was playing all 9 positions in the same game. No DH back then.

That's her own greed. She could have stood pat on $35,000. The game was not up for grabs in Final Jeopardy.

Those two Challengers clearly did not belong on stage. Something has gone screwy with contestant screening during the pandemic.

Same but it was King Solomon's Mines for me, luckily I caught myself in time realizing it wasn't King Solomon doing the predicting.

Bupkus for FJ, just wrote down Cesar knowing it was the film one.
The best thing that Neil Armstrong ever did, was to let us all imagine we were him.
Latest movies (1-10): Everything Everywhere All at Once (10), Ruby Gillman: Teenage Kraken (6), Black Sunday /1960/ (6), Marcel the Shell with Shoes On (7)

Amy - 48 buzzer attempts, $35,400 going into FJ

Taryn - 42 buzzer attempts, $400 going into FJ

These buzzing stats are insane.
