Finally, someone wagers correctly on FJ! TDD in J isn't bad either.

Mattea was too trigger happy today.

Conspiracy theorists will be in full force on the 4N DD and FJ category. Both are absolutely fine.

For FJ, I immediately knew what they were asking but couldn't remember one of the names!

Edit: how to win with lowest coryat

Poll request: I saw this FJ when it was accidentally posted on jeopardy-dot-com last month, and I still missed it today.

ETA: Danielle Maurer, Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The Geographically appropriate FJ giveth, and the Geographically appropriate FJ taketh away.

I don't really go to their website that much.. Where did they post? Never ending FJ?

The New York Times branded FJ page. Andy pointed out in another thread that someone probably programmed in 5/5 and 5/6 instead of 4/5 and 4/6.

Ken opened with a replay of Mattea's ZergCam from yesterday.

There are numerous ways Mattea could have won and multiple ways Danielle could have lost. Things went enough Danielle's way to gain the victory on the sole solve.

The writing was on the wall with Mattea's GMA interview last week and Danielle popping in yesterday on the reddit thread to confirm she was playing Mattea. The result was not surprising while the path there had a lot of plot twists.

It's kind of fitting to have Mayim back next week with a fresh champ.

The FJ! clue burned me on a half-get as I only knew the first guy. Young was my guess for the second one. I was too slow getting to the right area for the naming as I had to figure out the city from Coca-Cola and from there had a detour to Fulton in thinking about the old home for the Braves/Falcons.

Danielle used her home field advantage to the fullest extent and there is a level of fairness to it with Mattea getting Canada stuff throughout her run.

Mattea becomes the first person to lose a game in the 22-32 range of win totals.

The writing was even more on the wall because yesterday I knew what the FJ clue was gonna be from the jeopardy.com leak, and I noticed that the player who posted in yesterday’s game thread was from Peachtree Corners, Georgia. From that I was able to guess exactly how it would play out.

But the other theory turns out not to have been such a bad one either

Fittingly, Ms. Maurer seized the opportunity!

“Facility” had me thinking way too small. I didn’t know the name of the Atlanta airport anyway. Just be glad I got as far as Coca-Cola = Atlanta.

So many hoops to jump through in this clue. Bleah.

Mattea had an amazing run.

I’ll be clicking that box. Never knew they added a second name to the airport, so it was not on my radar screen. Knew it had to be something in the Atlanta area, but no idea what.

almost like they were asking me which NYC mayor lends his name to an airport.

Coke-->large land two names---> Airport two names.
Good that I look at the busiest airport lists from time to time. What an exciting match.

If the Kentucky Derby wasn't tomorrow, I wouldn't have focused so much on "racetrack".

I know full well Coke = Atlanta, but quickly wrote Churchill and Downs before spending about 25 seconds staring at it and then realizing I was way off the path.

If this clue was on another day, it probably would've been a quick, but not instant solve
Total game show career losings = $171,522

[Reading on Wikipedia] The Atlanta airport name story has more twists and red herrings than an Agatha Christie novel.

18/4, 21/4 making too many guesses :?
trash: Mt. Pinatubo, Methodism, Congregationalism, Claudius, Quo Vadis? 8-)
Got to Atlanta on FJ!, but fixated on stadiums and arenas. Even if I switched to airports, would not have pulled Jackson. :(
