Instead of Bialik, Mayim was Blanc today in reading the chicken clue in an imitative attempt.

Srimal Choi, a chief strategy officer, would need a new title if she worked for the SFUSD: https://www.sfchronicle.com/sf/article/ ... 199311.php

Ryan played no DDs and got outbuzzed by Aaron. If Aaron had bet the farm on DD3 then that is 26000 for the FJ! round against Ryan's 13000. Only Aaron knows if would have bet $1 in that scenario or gone for the tiebreaker.

The FJ! category had me struggling for a good precall as all I had was Michael Buffer and the ESPYs.

The FJ! clue had me needing think time as I did not figure it out in under ten seconds while on a Nebraska detour. It was divine intervention when the correct interpretation popped into my head to match Ryan.

Ryan keeps the streak alive of no player ever losing regular play game 11. Jonathan Fisher won $246K+ for his 11 wins, so Ryan needs another win to pass him.

If I were on stage, there's a very good change I just put down "Manning" here.

Ryan deserves all the luck he is having right now. Loving this streak.

Unless there was a production issue - Mayim not going to commercial after 3 rounds were clearly done in J round is strange. She's been at this a while too.

Stand and stare on Hermitage?

Totally lost on DD1 and DD2.

Yesterday I was watching the clip on YouTube about the meaning of Omaha as explained by FJ guy, so this was a slam dunk. If not might have gotten stuck in Nebraska? Who knows.

There are hundreds of occasions for the first segment going 16 clues (even 17). It has nothing to do with Mayim unless the stage manager gave the signal after 15 and she missed it.

I would think she would have some loud voice in her ear saying, "no, we're going to break", and in post they would have one of those weird edits we've become accustomed to with her hosting. It's not as if she pushes the button to reveal the clue, and I have my doubts she would be so quick to start reading before that yelling in her ear stopped her.

It's interesting to note that now that Ryan Long has qualified as a "superchampion" with 11 wins or more, that he has managed that feat with an average of only $19,027 per game. All of the 13 other superchampions averaged $20,000 or more, ranging from James Holtzhauer's $76,944 down to Julia Collins' $21,405.

To be able to maintain such a long streak while winning so little suggests especailly good luck in facing sub-par opposition, and perhaps that's part of it, but Ryan is no slouch, and he has impressed me with his knowledge, so I don't know. What do others think??

It didn’t specify Pro Football HOF and his dad is in the College HOF.

I started with Omaha native Bob Gibson but that is a deep cut for Jeopardy and he died in 2020. But after that it was a quick get. Peyton is my wife’s favorite player so she had it before me.
