Appropriate that the Minnesotan got the clue about Lake Itasca right. But how did two of the three contestants not figure out that the answers had to be names of states? Megan drew lead with Niagara and Molly with Hudson.

I'm surprised I remembered the name of Kurt Cobain's daughter. The first thing I ever heard about him was that a body was found at his house.

Jo Loesser was not a woman beloved by the music industry. Eydie Gorme said she was known as "the evil of two Loessers."

Such an easy final. How did the leader not have time to finish writing Tubman?

I feel so sorry for the way Molly crashed. She was given a charmed set of clues but couldn't make it work. She has such delightful delicate features.

Since Hammer now posts here only fortnightly, are you taking up his mantle?

If this remark can be taken seriously at all, it seems to have been said about his first wife (see the last paragraph)-

or his brother-

Jo Sullivan Loesser was a respected performer and an advocate of her husband's work for decades after his death.

Nope, I've truly never heard either term. I've seen both items. never heard names for them, nor that they HAD specific names.

I wish I knew the reason, because I do that too even though I've seen both.
Me too, and once again picked the wrong one.

For those who want the ToC field locked and/or the SCT participants revealed? Would not any kind of that news spoil in some way the final six weeks of the season?

gameshowfandanny: Any update about J! hosts in July?
I have an answer to your question. Mayim will host through July 15 and Ken will return on July 18.

Two weeks of Ken to close the season, thanks. May 2nd for taping the June 20-24 games is still a question mark in your other thread?

Yes. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to figure out the tape date for this week's shows yet. The reason I think it was May 2 was because on that day, Mayim tweeted about going on a golf cart ride to a morning meeting with the writers. Though it's possible another week taped on that day or maybe they didn't tape that day at all.

Hopefully he's closing the season to keep continuity as the permanent host in the next season.

Wouldn’t that depend on whatever reruns are chosen.

If the new season were to start September 12 with Ken hosting, and they have a rerun on September 9 with Mayim hosting, that's back to back shows with different hosts, and that's not exactly continuity in what is aired.

I wonder what they will do this summer. They only had one tournament this season. I suppose we will see reruns from the superchamps.

If the whole JNCC is shown then that would be 18 shows out of 30. With the Profs then that's only 2 more needed. Those tourneys could also rerun in partials with semis to finals only.

I don’t see them showing the JNCC in the syndication package. But I’ve been wrong before.

It's continuity in the regular season games. What they do in the off-season is irrelevant.

If the GOAT can be split then no reason college students can't be halved as well. If the JNCC does air as part of the syndi rerun package to introduce some viewers to the winner with a ToC invite then I suspect Bamaman will be reminded of his post? ;)

If reruns had zero viewers, it would be irrelevant; the reruns will air, the reruns will be viewed, it is far more relevant in continuity than something that aired weeks prior.
