Re: Monday, June 27, 2022 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
The writers were on the ball for the timing the fetus clue, Planned Parenthood and I think there was another...
It was a Cindy Brady moment when none of the contestants knew what to do with "red stick" in SOUTHERN CAPITALS.
The FJ! clue had me getting lucky not from figuring out it out from the clue's wording but more from thinking, "What kind of current nonsense thing is J! going to use to seem hip?"
From there I was able to see how the correct response fit the wording. I'll take it while wishing the category and clue were more exciting and fun to play along with at home.
Nice by Joe to solve from the lead and kick in the front door.
Sorry things did not go better for you Armand although congrats on the all-in on DD1. Yes, get something down for the FJ! clue even though Judge Judy would say, "Um is not a word."

Re: Monday, June 27, 2022 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
My game was the first game taped of the day. I am fairly certain it was Friday, April 29.
For those that care and to save a little face:
1) I am a pop culture person, so these categories were nightmare boards. As soon as I saw them I knew I had no shot.
2) After I got negged for my stupid failure to answer in the form of the question, I mentally shut down and literally just got buzzer shy and stopped ringing in, despite knowing answers.
3) I figured out FJ with about 3 seconds to go. Realizing that I wouldn't write it down in time, I just let it go.I probably could have written it on the paper card they give you, but really didn't care at that point.
Everyone was incredibly nice and I do not regret appearing. It was a fun experience, even if the outcome was bad.
After the game, Mayim asked me "So what was worse, doing stand-up in college or this?" I quickly responded "this, by far" which elicited much laughter.

Point for Mayim accepting "Indy" and not inserting Indianapolis.

I assume Joe's actual wager was 10300, not 1033. --BobtheFJguy wrote: ↑Mon Jun 27, 2022 1:35 pm FINAL JEOPARDY! CATEGORY

59 R (Could not get The Last Duel.)
DD: 3/3
FJ:
Good try Armand. At least you still have your Master Minds win.

Re: Monday, June 27, 2022 Game Recap and Discussion (SPOILERS)
The clue made less sense to me than most memes do. I wouldn't have come up with this with an hour of guesses.
That F1 category, however, was an absolute Clavin category. There's nothing on the level that J! will ask about that I wouldn't know.

I guessed tweet for FJ.
People not knowing Montgomery was the first Confederate capital happens a lot on the show, it seems.
I did get a chuckle from the Planned Parenthood and embryo clues popping up this week.

More than I knew, though the rest of the category posed no problems. When I saw "Silverstone" I was panicked that John Beresford Tipton's estate had been built over.
The "meme" meme first appeared on my radar via the defunct "memepool" site, though my pronunciation of the word may have seemed egocentric.
I'm smart and I want respect.
