Nice run of FAMILIAL PHRASES by Robert. +10K on DD2 and DD3 was 4601 shy of the needed lock. Robert led 21800 to 5400 after DD3, but Steve closed more than well enough to prevent the runaway.

That was a well-done promo piece between the DJ! and FJ! rounds for audience tickets becoming available.

The FJ! clue had a state and a genre. That's all it takes right there. It's possible someone could have a Ferber detour if missing the genre and/or geography. For Robert, a miss is as good as a mile. Or a lot more. A lot more.

Tried to think of a musical that took place in Charleston. Guessed Guys & Dolls.
At least it's a better guess than South Pacific, right?

Yep. It's a problematic designation with conflicting and often counterintuitive borders. I think we should have defined "midwest" as the northern states west of the original 13 plus Vermont, but east of the Louisiana purchase. You know, mid-west rather than far west. So, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota. Other places can have designations like Great Plains states or Central US or Flyover Country but shouldn't have been included in "midwest". But it's way too late to codify and enforce that now.

The only phrase I could think of was something I learned on Reddit. It would not have fit the category (FAMILIAL PHRASES) and would have edited out before air. A simple bleep would not have been enough if a contestant had responded with "What is chicks before {#`%${%&`+'${`%&NO CARRIER
