Another quickie TD-ish quiz....

Post by RandyG »

Name a feature-length, theatrically-released movie in which a member of the mammalian grandorder glires -- rodents + lagomorphs (rabbits, hares, and pikas) -- has a role with some significance. For example, if in a park scene a rabbit just runs across in view, that would not be significant, but if the rabbit jumped into somebody's lap and started talking, now that would be significant. Several dozen answers....

Post your answers in this thread for all to see, but limit it initially to 3 to a customer. And no research.

To get things started: "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

I'd say Monty Python counts. Why else would they have needed the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch?

Aw, c'mon. You have to ask?

Not familiar with this one, and there are an awful lot of IMDB listings for "Charlie." I'm sure it's a good one, but which Charlie are you talking about?
Peggles wrote:Night of the Lepus (I kid you not - look it up)
One of the all time worst. Stuart Whitman, Janet Leigh, DeForest Kelley and Rory Calhoun all at career lows.

Certainly. There's no movie without the rabbit. I just watched it again recently. Gets more interesting, yet stranger every time I see it.

There's always the Narnia & most of the Harry Potter movies...

For something more obscure, how about Coraline?

Wasn't sure if Frank is considered a "real" bunny for these purposes :) I've been meaning to re-watch the film for awhile. Just took a look at the wikipedia page and learned that Seth Rogen and Ashley Tisdale were both in it (in minor roles), would not have guessed that.

Local Hero.

I know it's significant, because it had a name. It had two names. It was Mac's pet.
And it was delicious.
