Our own FireAntsDefense admonished everyone not to blab about the questions at the beginning of last season: https://twitter.com/julysixteenth/statu ... 3356909568
All I can say is I'll finish between 0 and 9 points today.
Hoping for a third lap

All I can say is that my score tomorrow will not be 0(F).

(By the way, this was my first match of LearnedLeague ever! This is exciting! Good luck all, even if I have to play one of you, which I don't think I do.)

Question from a Rookie: Do you find out your score for the day immediately after your opponent puts in his/her answers, or does the Commissioner just release all the scores for the day at once at the end of the day?

This was an exciting day for me! I'm happy to be a part of LL finally.

Everyone finds out their scores at the end of the day. You'll get an e-mail early tomorrow with the results and a link to the next day's questions.

End of the day; 10PM pacific at the earliest, but I think it's sometimes taken as late as 1A to get released.

My experience is the results are very seldom available earlier than 11 pm Pacific.

Good luck everyone!!

This season I'm in Meridian. I like being a Ronin.

Good luck all y'all, and welcome new players!

Wasn't that one question hard? That other one was super-easy, though.

I liked the question about the thing. Didn't like that other one with the things.

Well, that's my first day out of the way. Good luck to you all today! (Except perhaps the person who posted before me in this thread...given the circumstances, I don't want him to have TOO much good luck... :P)

According to a lot of different conventions you're not really even supposed to say THIS much, just because it can give minor information if people read between the lines. Yes, I know that seems a little silly, but it is the standard rule.

OK, I think it should be fine now. (Let me know if I'm still revealing too much. I'm new to this!) You can edit your post to delete my quote if you want to.

Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow...whew.

Let's make it simple: Don't post ANYTHING about the current day, no matter how seemingly innocuous. That includes several comments above. There is nothing you might want to say that cannot wait until tomorrow. Let's avoid even a whiff of tainting any matches.

Okay, so I MIGHT have had some Monday Night Football music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rxwiI4aKIM going through my head as I opened my email from Thorsten on Monday morning, in preparation for the new season. I get a little excited for LL.

That was quickly replaced as I read question 6... Did anyone else have the "Favorite Things" song from question 6 as an ear worm? (or from 1 for that matter?)
