Might be because I'm tired but I think that was my worst test yet. Would not be surprised if I failed to break 35.

Anecdotally the East Coast test always seems brutal. This one was quite challenging. Even my gimme categories weren't gimmes.

That felt very tough to me.
Is "Wife fife" the right answer for that rhyme time? That felt like a clutch pull for me.

I might be on the cusp as well. It didn't feel HORRIBLE, but certainly not my best. I'll just blame my horrific cold

Yeowch. Pretty tough. I had some problems early on, but did OK later. Overall I think I probably got at least 35/50.
ETA: based on the list Jeff posted below, I think I got around 38-40. Not my best, but OK.

Hmm....can't be completely sure of course until the transcript goes up, but this felt like the easiest test for me in some years.

Re: Online Test Recap & Discussion (Eastern), October 4, 2016
Yeah, this felt hard. I am thinking that I missed by a few, but the clues that were in my good categories also felt on the difficult side.
From what I remember: it would have been nice if the clue on Miss Jane Marple had come before the one on Jane Austen, so I wouldn't have lost out on the 50 50 90 guess between Austen and Christie! I also misread First Lady from Plains as "First Lady from THE Plains", and guessed Nancy Reagan.

I actually thought this one was the easiest I've taken. I'm normally around 30-35, but I have no doubt I was over 35 on this one. The hardest part was the spelling. There were quite a few that I knew the answer but messed up the spelling. Hopefully they were close enough.

It took me 17 seconds to come up with "estimate" and my stupid brain locked in on "Pleiades" for a group of seven stars. Ugh.
I think I'm in the 40-42 range.

I'll be contrarian and say that this wasn't either the easiest or hardest tryout test I've taken, with the caveat that the clues in my weak areas (pop music, art, movies) were things I actually knew, although I couldn't think of Rembrandt until there wasn't enough time to type his name.

Does anyone else's profile still show a blank (no check mark) under "Test Taken"? I know it's probably too early to check, but the test site always feels pretty wonky to me and I don't really trust the tech end of it a ton...
