I do know that Addis Ababa is in Ethiopia. But again, Africa has about a bajillion countries, and I have no idea where on the continent it is. I also didn't know that Italy had ever done ANYthing in Africa.

Learning the names of a few countries in each region of Africa would be a good start.

I know the names of at least some of the countries, but not their locations other than "South Africa is probably somewhere to the south".

Because there was just a MASSIVE romaine lettuce recall, and many sources lamented the lack of Caesar salads

Unfortunately, Jeopardy does require some memorization. Africa does have 50+ countries so every one of those capitals probably isn't going to be on the tips of everyone's tongues. But knowing Africa is just a fraction of it; it's obvious that the show expects contestants to know pretty much every world capital - I'm guessing most of them have shown up over the years. And to be at least somewhat familiar with where they are and maybe a tiny bit of their history.

Whether everyone watching would have that kind of info - unlikely. But they certainly expect contestants to have put in that work ahead of time so it's all fair game. Kind of what one should expect for a show about trivia where geography has shown up often.

I was going to say that only one was, but then I realized the pizza chain doesn't have an apostrophe in its name.

They're not exotic. Try your local grocery store, or even some fast food restaurants (Wendys, for one). Also, a casual chain place like Red Lobster.

But maybe wait a few months. I know last time I went to Wendy's (Saturday) they still weren't back on the menu.

Here's another place

They are OK, same as spinach salad is OK if you have 4 stomachs and time to chew your cud. I prefer a non-nutritious iceberg lettuce with mostly the white part of the leaf.

I was just at the grocery store and they didn't have them.

I have forever sworn off Wendy's because I get shockingly horrible service and ice-cold, bland, sloppy, improperly made food at literally every single one I've ever been to.

Ok, I'll bite. What is confusing about the concept of criminal law? You've heard of police, prosecutors, judges, courtrooms, juries, jails, "You have the right to remain silent," heard of a show called "Law & Order," etc.?

I have, but I didn't know that it had a specific all-encompassing term.

It's half-encompassing where 'law' is concerned. The other part is civil law.
